Entering this old-fashioned restaurant is almost like stepping back in time. The outdated décor and dull vibe are not just the least inviting, but the warm service staff who ushers you in, make up for it. The menu boasts of dishes of the days of yore - Indian, Chinese and Continental with several classics too. There are a fair amount of vegetarian options as well across cuisines. The breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets here are the raison d'etre of this place. The bar menu offers spirits, wines and cocktails. Non-vegetarians must-try the 'Eggs Florentine', 'Chicken Imperial', 'Pomfret Doria' and 'Prawns Meuniere', from the a la carte menu. The 'Paneer Shashlik Gourmet Sizzler' is popular. The quality of the food is good, but the flavours mediocre. The buffet offers a fairly limited variety but is value for money. The rest of the food on the menu is surprisingly overpriced. Desserts are uninspiring. The service is unobtrusive but prompt and the staff courteous.
