Hong Kong is one of Thane's more popular restaurants. The décor is simple and comfortable. Dark wood and red cushioning make up the interiors. The cuisine served is Chinese with a few Asian dishes like Thai curry, Khow suey, Pad Thai and even a Nasi Goreng. The emphasis however is on the Chinese dishes like prawn in XO Sauce, Hong Kong chicken and four treasure vegetables. A lot of dishes on the menu are popular ones so it makes ordering easy and doesn't intimidate you with fancy names or unusual dishes. If you are still confused with what to order, ask the staff to help you. They are superbly polite and extremely helpful.

It’s not much of a guess what cuisine Hong Kong excels at. Here a gourmet can have a gala time wading through a smorgasbord of Chinese and Thai menu, however don’t go expecting authentic Chinese food. They are more into Indo-Chinese versions, which is more than acceptable to their regulars. Dining at Hong Kong is not excessively expensive, indulge freely. If possible opt for their buffet, it’s economical plus generous. Start your evening with the appetizers like, Vietnamese rice paper rolls, silky steamed wontons in hot garlic sauce, Asian herb bao, green chilli fish satay, basil pepper mushroom, Mongolian lamb and wasabi prawns. Feast further on the mains like, four treasure vegetables, stone pot chicken, massaman curry, steamed fish with scallion & peppers, fish in XO sauce, sweet & sour vegetable, red Thai curry and signature Hong Kong chicken.
Throw in a bowl of aromatic fried noodles or fried rice to back up the gravies. A pot of green tea goes wonderfully with the meal, ask for it. Their assortment of desserts are quite fantastic. Get a sweet taste of exoticness with, date pancake with vanilla ice cream, chocolate sticks, fried ice cream, thap thim krop, bull’s eye and orange honey daarsan with brownie. The interiors at Hong Kong are modern Asian. Deep red cushion booths works really well against polished wooden finishes. Wooden lattice screens are used to divide each booth and give them privacy. Sharp LED lights accentuates the contemporary element, making Hong Kong seem stylish and attractive.
