Hoppum is a cheeky play on a Sri Lankan Hopper and a South Indian Appam which essentially are the same. They were a hot favourite on the festival circuit and now due to popular demand have opened their own store. Space is tiny with a couple of tables inside with air conditioning and a few outside so you might have to wait for a spot. The food is casual and comforting and reminds you of street food in Colombo. The meaty options are fabulous and while most of the vegetarian dishes are paneer based they sadly do not have the same punch as the meat dishes.
