The décor is familiar and bears the quintessential Indigo Deli stamp. The seating options however are varied with an indoor area and a bright and relaxed outdoor section as well. The breakfast here is hugely popular and a great way to start the day. The regular menu is replete with Western comfort food, abounding in choices for non-vegetarians, but a fair amount for vegetarians too. The single origin coffee offerings here are impressive, as are the selections of teas. Salads, sandwiches, burgers and dogs remain eternal favourites. One can not visit this place and not indulge in the Indigo deli reuben from the ‘deli classics since 2005’ section. Peanut butter and jelly - the deli way is an all-time hit with kids. Chorizo and scamorza pizza – the wafer-thin crust topped pizza with choicest fresh ingredients is a delight for the taste buds. The staff is alert and attentive and yet, one can enjoy a leisurely meal here without being disturbed.
There was a time when one could swear by Indigo Deli in any part of the town and be assured that not only would you get to eat a great meal but you would be served efficiently not to mention the ambience which would relax you. The recent visit to the Andheri branch was heartbreaking indeed! There were flies that you had to keep chasing away - its not like you were sitting in a roadside dhaba - and it was also not summer! The food was disappointing - the tiger prawns were overcooked and one had to keep asking for this that and the other. What more can one say except that its time to move on and write off Indigo as a natural first choice to eat out.
Having lunch and gazing at stars.... what else can a “Non-Mumbaikar” ask for... Appropriately sized and prized portions... authentic taste of Mediterranean falafel 🥙 complimented by white bud tea... All this in company of several TV and film stars... how I wish I had a neck which could move around 360 degrees
Typical English food restaurant with wide choice of cocktails / mock tails.. Excellent service quality. Good ambiance. End with nice deserts. Vegetarian variety is limited. Excellent fish dishes served.
I love indigo deli....as a family we all do but today I wish we had gone to one of new spangled cafes all over Lokhandwala than Indigo Deli. Dry tasteless burgers (the works burger which is their trademark burger). Service that was overbearing yet totally inefficient. You just never knew who you belonged to. The door to the service area stayed open almost the whole time with curses and yelling floating out throughout the meal. Took forever to get the bill and longer yet to finally pay and get out. Truly disappointed
Very nice sitting area with natural light, especially enjoyable in the daytime. The quiche i ordered was on "todays special" and very well prepared. it was served with light veggies on the side, and was cheesy and yet, crispy on outside. Looking forward to the next time..
For many European food is considered quite worldly, but for us, it’s homely and comforting. It’s one of the few cuisines to instil a feeling of warmth inside of us with all that great loaded sandwiches and a plethora of great salads just inviting you to dig in. European food is huge in India but it still has to find the same popularity as Italian or Chinese, but it’s because of this one chain of restaurant that European food has found its feet. Anyone who knows anything about food will recognise the name ‘Indigo Delicatessen’ immediately. This one chain of restaurants has put European food on the map with its excellent menu and an ambience that transports you to the very doorstep of Europe. For your taste of heaven pop down to Andheri West outlet in Mumbai and get your sandwich fix.
The menu of Indigo Delicatessen is a delicious mix of European plus Continental, encompassing a delightful array of all day breakfasts to heart-warming pastas and burgers. Another thing that gives the menu a huge boost is Indigo Delicatessen’s bar menu featuring some of the most lip-smacking cocktails you will find anywhere in the city. Their sangrias are much ordered and at brunch time, flows freely. Munch alongside on, lemon butter calamari, quiche, beer batter-fried vegetables, Bombay chicken wings, cheese fondue, fish & chips, Deli BBQ pork ribs and Deli fried chicken. Take your evening to the next level with few mains such as, risotto of wild mushrooms & red wine, 3 smoked peppers & 3 cheese wafer thin pizza, BBQ pulled pork burger, bagel & lox sandwiches, farfalle with three mushroom ragout, chorizo & scamorza pizza and beef tenderloin burger.
Arm yourself with a spoon and dig into Indigo Delicatessen’s awesome dessert selection. Find yourself wooed with, chocolate mud cake, lemon meringue pie, plum & almond tart, croissant pudding with bourbon sauce, apple pie, brownie vs cheesecake and a low sugar dessert, just ask your server. The restaurant is warmly and invitingly decorated with polished wooden tables topped with candles. The room is dimly lit to enhance the mood for the couples. Interiors are mellow and cosy with not much striking style going on but it’s soothing all the same. There is even an outdoor space to go along with the main dining room. Indigo Delicatessen is a bit pricey but wonderful.
