On a warm afternoon the taste of the hour was a craving for fish and we thought of dropping in at Isvara. It's not crowded and with plenty of seating available we chose to be seated in the cool interiors. There are cocktails prepared with malvani ingredients like Kokum, bottled beer, meads and other alcohol. The menu has an array of various malavani preparations of fish. The fish is fresh and the curry delicious however the service was a bit slow. It's priced pretty steep as well.

The atmosphere at The Konkani Haven – Isvara Restaurant is truly something special — calm, serene, and perfect for a relaxed meal. The ambiance sets the tone with soothing music, tasteful decor, and a peaceful vibe that immediately makes you feel at home.

The food is the real star here — authentic Konkani flavors that are hard to find elsewhere. Every dish we tried was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The seafood options, in particular, were outstanding!

Service was warm and attentive without being intrusive. You can tell the staff genuinely care about your dining experience.

Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy great food in a tranquil setting. Will definitely be coming back!

Lovely ambience and spacious setting, but the food was average. The egg curry was tasty yet served in a very small portion, and the chapati was too hard and seemed machine-made, which made it quite dry.

Had gone to celebrate new years lunch with my family, was really looking forward as the menu seemed tempting, but to our dismay the whole experience was horrible, as we entered it was soo dull and worn out , the music was soo loud and nerve wrenching , it did not look at all like the pictures. We were seated in poco loco which looked so dingy, the staff seemed soo lost and were so shabbily dressed. The quality and quantity of the food was highly disappointing. We ordered calamari in garlic which was sooo salty, and after mentioning to the staff it made no difference. Overall a terrible experience. Me being a person who loves trying new places and tastes. This was surely not a new years meal I expected to give my family and definitely not that ambience.

I visited this place on a national holiday so obviously the place was not that busy given it was a holiday and a dry day.

The food was good but not wow. I definitely would recommend to try the Konkani style shrimps. We also tried a lot of other fish items which were also good. If you like spicy food you definitely need to try the Prawns thecha which was super spicy.

The service is very slow given that it was not crowded at all. We had to wait quite a long time for even things like Fresh Lime sodas...

So we had done pre bookings through Zomato through their Carnival offer for this outing. We were surprised when the restaurant informed us that the Zomato offer excludes all lamb related products and they will make a seperate bill for that. This was a bit new for me but yes it is what it is.

The most recommended to try here is the prawns ambotik , mutton kalimiri and the wade. Their most instagrammble dish , the thecha prawns is too hot (????) to handle!
We also had the stuffed pomfret which was a misnomer because it was actually patrani maach... nevertheless it was fresh so no complaints there...
What was disappointing was their bombil fry and their mandeli fry.... unfortunately what they served us was charred bombil...not at all expected from a seafood speciality restaurant.
Their solkadi is good...but I think u should go for their innovative cocktails...we had the Aampanna gimlet which was refreshing!
We had been to the restaurant in the afternoon and there was only one person who took care of everything...maybe noone goes there in the afternoon...so I would advise go there only for dinner when u would b able to enjoy the ambience as well cause without the lighting...the place is not worth spending ur time in.
I wouldn't say value for money....expensive. our bill went to 2500 per person
Can go once though..cause the seafood is fresh and the masalas they prepare in are different and tasteful.
For dessert we had the doodhi halwa which was very very good

It's a great and quite place. The food is delicious. Some goan music. Perfect place for family dinner. Ambience is good. The prices are bit on upper side but the food is really delicious so can't argue much. You can also go with friends. Tasted Veg and Non-veg food, both are great, so doesn't matter if you're friends are vegetarian. Service is bit slow, but when you taste the food, it's worth the wait. Maybe they prepare it freshly according to the order and requirements. Overall a great place for Goan and kokani food lovers.

Prawn rawa fry ?
Absolute winner ? all around. The malvan curry, the pomfret tawa fry, the kokum soup, everything is fresh, without fuss and delivers on taste. Highly recommended!!
