This latest entrant to the string of eateries in Oshiwara, is a hotspot for carnivores as the cuisine is North Indian with a special leaning towards robust non-vegetarian fare. The tandoori items here are popular. The décor is simple, but the interiors are clean and comfortable. There is an outdoor seating option as well. The menu offers Chinese dishes too. No alcohol is served here so soft drinks and mocktails, are your best bet. The 'Nimbu Dhaniya Ka Shorba' adds zing to your palate and is a good way to start. From 'Aatishi Aloo' to 'Paneer Do Pyaaza', there are several vegetarian options on the menu. The 'Afghani Tandoori Chicken' with distinct smoky flavours is worth-a-try. It is the curries that are rich, greasy and heavy. The 'Nalli Lahori' and 'Murg Peshawari' are decent options. Seafood lovers can settle for the 'Jhinga Kadai'. Pair these with the vast array of Indian breads. The aromatic and well-spiced 'Raan Kabsa Rice with a leg of lamb', is a hearty treat but will appeal to hard-core carnivores only. The service staff is helpful and alert.
Can be a bit pricey, but I always manage to find unique gifts. All sorts of items and paintings. Definitely worth stopping by to check out the local artists.
A great selection of different kinds of Art. Sculpture, glass, crystals, woodwork, ceramics, paintings, woven stuff, etc. Talented artists. It was great chatting to Jim Mann one of the exhibiting artists.
We were staying in Bridgton for 4 days for a reunion and came across the gallery. There is a lot to see, many different genres/medias of art and all of it fine. Wish we had had more time to browse, I saw a number of items I would have liked to have shipped home. One artist in particular, I forget her name does photos on metal then paints on them and they are then glossed or giclee. Just beautiful!
A really wide display and selection of the areas artistic talent. Many very nice pieces with a large range of styles and mediums. I bought some nice gifts with what I thought was very reasonable prices. I would rather purchase from an artist coop than a dealer or reseller that has to mark things up. The artist tending the shop that day was very knowledgeable and helpful. Will return next time I'm in Bridgton.
It's so wonderful to see what artistic talent is in our area! The variety of paintings, sculptures, and a huge variety of other items. If you're looking for something unique this is the place, but if you just want to enjoy some beautiful pieces...take a browse!
