There are plenty of restaurants dishing out traditional Indian food but there are only a handful that do it well. Kangan at the Westin Garden City Hotel is one of them. Situated on the 18th floor of the hotel, it has a great view overlooking the city. Chef Angad Rai has created a stellar menu full of Mughlai and Awadhi dishes and the quiet ambiance and dim lighting make it a romantic spot to dine at. Lots of tikkas, kababs and heady North Indian gravy based dishes on this menu but one of the hidden delights is their seb ki sabzi or apple stew which is a Kashmiri dish and one you hardly see on most menus. Service is excellent and over all a meal here is an experience.
