This is an unfortunate space. It looks like a breakfast lounge on the club floor (where it is located) and though the Leela has run two perfectly good Italian restaurants here, neither has found the success it deserves. That might happen to Le Cirque Signature too, which would be a shame because it is a really nice restaurant with a very strong kitchen team and first-rate service. The idea is to offer a relaxed, more casual version of the iconic New York restaurant. It doesn’t quite work out that way because the feel is not very different from the full-fledged Le Cirque in Delhi and the food is more or less the same.
Legends never die, rather they become stories which are passed on for generations as a level of achievement for their peers. When it comes to gastronomy, many legends have been born and are still growing strong due to their exceptional performance day after day. Their success reaches all over the world and through that they get a chance to spread their culinary magic to other countries as well. One iconic New York restaurant started its journey way back and has now reached the shores of Mumbai in form of ‘Le Cirque Signature’. This fabulous fine dining establishment is housed under The Leela Mumbai Hotel and is said to be one of the best dining places in town. Its excellence goes beyond good food, it exudes perfection through service and ambience as well.
A fantastic menu goes along with Le Cirque Signature, which handles Italian and French cuisines beautifully. A spectacular wine library pairs off the dishes pretty well, consult your sommelier to elevate your dining experience. Do keep in mind that Le Cirque Signature is an expensive place to dine. If you want to razzle dazzle someone then this is the place to go. Food is as authentic as it can get. Start by going through the appetizers which entails, quinoa salad, crostini, crab parmantier, caprese salad, pecorino cheese crème brulee, fried calamari, Le Cirque lobster salad and red & golden beet salad. Make your second course a decadent experience with, ravioli burrata, morel lobster, slow roasted chicken with truffle jus, buckwheat crepes, porcini tortellini, squid ink lobster chitarre, cauliflower flan, Australian lamb chops and Chilean sea bass paupiette.
This might be one of the few Italian restaurant not to serve pizzas. If you feel particularly adventurous skip the wine and try their signature concoctions, they are delicious. To coddle your sweet tooth make do with rum flavoured French toast with ice cream, a lip-smacking treat. If you want a discreet hush-hush meal with a classy backdrop, Le Cirque Signature is the place for you. Interiors are plush and screams affluence through its subtle tasteful décor. Small formal tables laden with crystal ware are dotted around the room making a cozy party of two. Separate private dining room can be asked for large groups. Sit next to the wine library, best seats in the house.
