Located in the busy bustling Inorbit Mall, Made in Punjab is a haven for diners craving delicious North Indian fare. The restaurant is tastefully decorated with light colours and partitions with intricate work on the trellis. Just like its older sibling Masala Library, the décor is contemporary and does not scream Indian food with typical décor. The menu has a perfect mix of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. Their signature dishes being the 'Salmon Tikka' (an unusual but tasty style of eating Norwegian salmon) as well as 'Gucchi Pulao', 'Mutton Chaap', 'Mutton Seekh Kabab' and 'Dal Makhani'. The service is extremely good and each server knows exactly what ingredients go into each dish and their knowledge makes it very easy for you to decide while ordering.
Planning for a pleasant evening and delicious dinner with family ? Made in Punjab is fine dine restaurant and will surely satisfy your taste buds. This restaurant is located in Inorbit Mall, Malad West and serves Punjabi and Chinese cuisine. Paneer Barrel Tikka and Dal Makhani are worth giving a try. Stuffed Kulcha with Potato stuffing was also well prepared. The staff is also courteous and welcoming. However, service is quite slow due to which you may have to wait for a longer time in case you are on waiting list.
Good food, slow service... Nice ambience. A slightly tight menu giving limited choice for kids... Need to add a kids menu
Good food and great taste. Very courteous staff, ensures you get what exactly you asked for and excellent service.
Barring one guy in the blazer the rest of all the guys serving us or around in the restaurant were grumpy. And barring just the chicken malai tikka every thing served to us was mediocre, the dal makhni sucked.
Recently visited “Made In Punjab” the casual dining arm of Mr. Jiggs Karla for a weekday dinner and I was reminded of this rich culinary heritage of the North West region of India. MIP operates on 2 models : A-La-Carte & Daily Buffet (Lunch on Weekdays & Lunch/Dinner on Weekends), we decided to go with the A-La-Carte offerings. Started off with couple of Mocktails : - Hadwana Shikanjivi : Watermelon juice mixed with coriander, lime & Chaat masala for the zingy effect. Loved it! - Minty Apple : Mojito styled mixed with fresh cut apples, lime & mint topped with soda for the fizzy effect. Appetizers : An extensive menu which will spoil you with choices in Veg & Non-Veg options, we tried the below listed items and were pleasantly surprised with each dish! Veg : Tokri Chaat was my favorite & Recommended! - Tokri Chaat : A bowl shaped base made out of potato filled with cubed potatoes, tomatoes, onions, yogurt & mint chutney. - Saddi Kurkurri : Cigar roll fried and filled with vegetable and cheese served with sweet chili dip. Non Veg : I wish I could pick a favorite from the below list but a special mention to Bhatti Da Murgh which was more like Drums of Heaven followed by Kalmi Kebab which simply melts in your mouth. Not to forget, the Sarson Machhi was simply superb while the Seekh kebab was tandoor roasted and stuffed with Yoghurt, the Garlic roasted chicken tikka was creamy as well. - Bhatti Da Murgh (Definitely Recommended) - Kalmi Kebab (Definitely Recommended) - Sarson Olive Machhi (Recommended) - Burnt Lehsuni Chicken Tikka (Recommended) - Meat Te Seekhan Mains : All mains were served with Tandoori Roti/Butter Naan/Lacha Paratha which complimented the gravy perfectly. - Maa Ki Daal : Creamy yet simple; I simply had few spoonful of this daal and couldn’t get enough of it. - Murgh Tikka Lababdar : Lababdar translated means a strong desire for something and a complete surrender to it; the flavors on this will do exactly that to you. (Definitely Recommended) - Nalli Hardkour : An avid mutton fan; so you know Quality once you taste it. MIP version of Nalli Nihari was simply superb; 3 baby lamb shanks served with a sinful gravy. The meat was cooked perfectly, was soft and came off the bone with ease which made having this dish an enjoyable experience. (Definitely Recommended) Desserts : Presentation got me sold here already; and I enjoyed each of these satiating delicacies. DO NOT miss the Chocolate stuffed Gulab Jamun, Flavored ice-creams & Kesar Lassi! - Gulab Jamun stuffed with Chocolate - Nukkad jalebi with Rabdi - Paan & Gulkand flavored ice cream - Kesar Pistawali Lassi Pede De Naal Our hosts for the day Rajpal Singh & Devender were sincerely helpful and always around when we needed them; kudos to their hospitality!!!!
