This restaurant has been one of the first ones to begin serving some delectable fresh seafood and that is one prime reason people are drawn to it. The relaxing and comfortable ambience and great on-time service are the reasons you return to this place. Of course, the food here is quite delicious and rather simple in a way. No complications involved and you get what you want, maybe you can spruce it up with some juice from the lemons on the table, seafood and citrus, heaven, no? Time and again, the specials of the day are made in a rather experimental manner but the techniques remain the same. So, for instance, if they get some great quality Rawas one day, they make a ‘Rawas Tikka’ out of it and the game of marination is so strong, you’ll miss the flavours in your dreams. Amongst others, there is also ‘Stuffed Pomfret’ that is a remarkably special dish, with stuffed veggies and prawns inside it. This is different and daringly delicious. Also, a side note about the portion sizes being really great and there must be enough room to share. The mains include a great range of seafood, obviously and has enough to offer for everyone. The mains are divided in regional cuisine manner and you will see ‘Chettinad’, ‘Malabar’, ‘Mangalore’ being the top few favourites of people here. The curries are cooked on the very basics of the respective region and all of them are true to the taste. It is suggested that you get Lobster if it is available as per catch, it is very interesting to see how they make it with the rather Indian prep styles, we would have seen enough of those European dishes but with the curries, it is really new. Most of these curries are amazing with the ‘Appams’, so make sure you get at least one.
