
Zorawar Kalra, son of legendary foodie Jiggs Kalra, has already tapped into his father’s expertise for two chains, Punjab Grill (since sold to Lite Bite Foods) and Made In Punjab (still booming). Masala Library, however, is very much his own idea. Merging a wealth of influences (street food, molecular gastronomy, etc.), he has created a menu of modern Indian food that is like no other. This is one of the city’s hardest tables to book and is packed out at lunchtime with office-goers from within the Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), while at dinner the crowd changes to a fancier demographic.
