Persian Darbar

We had the Murgh Lebnani Tikka and Chicken Kabsa. The tikka was extremely tasty. The Kabsa was slightly spicy for our liking. The quantities are huge, 6 huge pieces of tikka and what felt like a bucketful of rice.
The decor of the space is also pretty.

This was our first experience at this restaurant. Luckily we went for an early dinner and hence could easily get a table for a large group.

The customer service was great, right away from ordering to being served.

The overall food was also delicious.
We ordered a mix of a few Indian and Chinese dishes. However, I must say that the Indian dishes are more recommended for this restaurant compared to Chinese cuisine.

Overall good experience and I highly recommend this restaurant if you’re in the Marol area!

All item's Where Good And Tasty ???

Persian Darbar at Marol, Times Square, is one of those places that delivers a complete dining experience — great food, beautiful ambience, and warm service. Located in a busy commercial hub, it stands out with its rich Persian-inspired interiors and inviting atmosphere.

The moment you enter, the décor immediately catches your attention. The restaurant has a distinct Persian look with elegant detailing and stunning Moroccan lamps that add warmth and character to the space. The lighting creates a cozy yet royal feel, making it perfect for family dinners as well as relaxed evenings with friends. Despite being in a commercial area, the ambience feels calm and refined.

Now coming to the food — we ordered Chicken Lebanese, Mutton Seekh Kebab, Mutton Biryani, and Pudding, and every dish was satisfying.

Chicken Lebanese Kebab: Tender chicken cooked in creamy, mildly spiced gravy with subtle Middle Eastern flavours. Rich, smooth texture and beautifully balanced seasoning made it comforting and flavourful.

Mutton Seekh Kebab: Juicy, perfectly minced mutton seekh kebabs grilled with aromatic spices. Soft, smoky, and well-seasoned, each bite delivered authentic flavour without being overly spicy or dry.

Mutton Biryani: Fragrant long-grain rice layered with succulent mutton pieces and traditional spices. Well-cooked, aromatic, and rich in flavour, with generous portions and perfect balance throughout.

Pudding: Smooth, creamy dessert with just the right sweetness. Light yet indulgent, offering a pleasant finish to the meal without feeling heavy after a hearty dinner.

The staff deserves special mention. They were polite, attentive, and well-informed about the menu. Service was prompt without being intrusive, and they ensured we were comfortable throughout the meal.

Overall, Persian Darbar at Marol offers a satisfying blend of authentic flavours, rich ambience, and excellent service. If you enjoy Mughlai and Middle Eastern-inspired cuisine in a refined setting, this place is definitely worth visiting. A solid five-star experience.

A restaurant located at Times square , near Sakinaka. I was there for dinner .I ordered Mutton Biryani. The taste was pathetic. It was very sour. the pieces of mutton was with bigger bones don't have the meat as they are charging Biryani per pieces 2 pieces and 4 pieces. The restaurant was costly but not worthy. There was no marination in mutton just boiled mutton and rice. If you are spending money and not getting good food then what is the use of bigger brands. The service was very slow. the restaurant was little busy but server were not giving attention towards guest. They spoiled whole experience. Very bad experience.

We were 4 friends out for a Dinner night out at Persian Darbar.

The order was decided even before entering their 3 in 1 Raan and then the waiter tells us that it is not available currently.
Idk how they can run out of stock on Raan during a Sunday night at 8 o Clock.

Haleem they said they make only during Ramzaan.

So the server recommended us to order a Thaal (see photo)
It was good and delicious.
I didn't like the Honey Chilli Potato Gravy type chicken (looked a little out of place)

The cold drinks in Glass bottles were good.

Recommend for a hearty meal

Extremely Disappointed – Unsafe Food, Burnt Items & No Accountability

We have been loyal customers of Persian Darbar for over 10 years, and this is the first time we’ve ever had such a terrible experience. We recently placed an order directly through the restaurant for guests at home (pictures of the food and bill attached), and the entire order had to be returned.

The chicken was completely stale and foul-smelling, to the point where one of the kids threw up after eating it. On top of that, the Mutton Bhuna was burnt and absolutely not edible. This wasn’t just poor quality, it was genuinely unsafe.

When we informed the restaurant, they asked us to return the full order, which we did. But after that:
•	They did not refund the amount
•	They did not replace the food
•	They did not acknowledge that the food was bad

This is extremely disappointing coming from a place we’ve trusted for years. Serving stale and burnt food is unacceptable and can easily turn into a serious health issue.

Posting this review purely so others are aware. Please be cautious while ordering from them, no one should have to go through an experience like this.

Good for non veg. Vegetarian options are there but not worthy.
The ambience is good
