Persian Darbar

Visited Persian Darbar, Bandra and had Lebanese chicken tikka, galauti kebab, mutton chop, mutton roghan josh, and chicken tikka masala. The starters were absolutely superb and easily deserve 5 stars. The main course was also quite good, especially the mutton roghan josh, though I would rate it 4 stars. The ambience is a bit old-fashioned, but the service was prompt and courteous. I visited once for dinner and once for lunch, and both times the bill for three people was around ₹1650, which felt reasonable for the quality and quantity served. Overall, a good place for great kebabs and starters.

We have visited this restaurant many times, but this time I decided to share a review. The food at Persian Darbar is truly delightful and good ambiance. Although the service could be a bit better, the taste of the dishes more than makes up for it. The must-try item here is the 3-in-1 Raan, which is perfect for a group of six. For couples, the Chicken Tandoori and Mutton Nalli Barra are excellent choices. In dessert Kanufa is a winner.

Our all time go to for the best biryani in Mumbai. All biryani lovers should try this place. They also have the best Chinese.
We ordered for Persian special biryani, Lebanese chicken tikka, caramel custard and kunafa.
All were delicious and are highly recommended dishes.

Nice food and great staff. We ordered Enam-E-Shan Thali. Great value for money.

Every visit you feel the same no change in taste.
We went on a normal day but still had to wait for 45 mins and people came after us but went before us due to reference which felt bad.

Other wise every thing was good

This cozy restaurant can host 30 to 40 people. We had lunch here and left quite pleased with our experience. They offer valet service for convenience. The service is impressively quick, and both the quality and quantity of the food exceeded our expectations. The waiter provided excellent recommendations when we were unsure what to order. It's an affordable spot and a fantastic choice for enjoying delicious meals.

Good experience. We went for late dinner and my friend who is visiting with me from Bangkok.
It wasn't that busy and we ordered. We asked for suggestions and they said Lamb chop and some biryani.

After sometime he came back and said lamb isn't available.
We said something else and we had some chicken tikka which was delicious.

For the biryani, i felt he cheated as it tasted like butter chicken and rice and it was probably made last minute.

It tasted good. Maybe it's how they make it but I feel like that.

Persia Darbar is one of my favorite places for proper Mughlai and North Indian food. The biryani is rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked, and their gravies are always thick, aromatic, and satisfying.

The kebabs, butter chicken, and mutton dishes are especially good, with generous portions and consistent taste. Everything feels freshly prepared and well-spiced without being overpowering.

The ambiance is comfortable, service is quick, and overall it’s a great spot for family dinners or group outings. If you love good non-veg food, Persia Darbar is definitely worth a visit!

Used to be a good place. Now the quality and taste is just pathetic. They don’t even cook in this branch, they get everything from their Kurla branch. Served us stale rice and chicken and didn’t even acknowledge it.

All put together, its not worth going even if their prices were reasonable. We literally couldn’t eat anything served.
