This popular Tex-Mex eatery boasts of spacious interiors with its characteristic decor. The vibe is relaxed and the seating, spread over 2 levels, comfortable. There is a private dining area available too. The menu is exhaustive and can confuse anyone. Apart from the core, Tex Mex food, there are some global offerings too. The 'Whacko Tacos' with a shredded chicken or lamb topping, will please carnivores. There are vegetarian versions too. The 'Mexi Skin', is a good option, to begin with. The 'Chicken Quesadillas' is too spicy and messy. The Lebanese market is a familiar and safer bet. The 'Ranchado Chicken' is a delight and served on a bed of 'Mexican Rice', proves to be a deeply satisfying meal. The portions are hearty, the food well-executed, but overpriced and the ingredients used, of a good quality. Among desserts, the 'Apple Pie', disappoints as the portion is measly and the filling, inadequate and dry. The service staff although helpful needs to better trained and alert. Steer clear of the fish dishes, if Basa is not your favourite fish, as that is what is on offer.
