This newly opened chic Asian eatery and bar, run by the husband-wife duo, Chef Seefah and Chef Karan Bane, is already being thronged by fans of their food. The restaurant is fairly big but feels intimate. Well- spread out, the seating is cosy and comfortable. The bar at one end is swish and hard-to-miss. The 'Prawn Cakes' are delectable and the flavours shine through effortlessly. The 'Agedashi Tofu' is equally a treat owing to its texture and subtle flavour profile. The 'Kappa Maki Roll' and 'Tuna Akami' stand out among the sushi offerings. Both of these are inventive and aesthetically presented. The live sushi bar here is the best place to watch the chefs at work. For mains, carnivores must try the 'Spicy Crispy Pork' and the 'Steam Rose Snapper', 'Spicy Lemon Broth'. Plenty of vegetarian options on the menu. The food here is comforting, replete with flavours that pack a punch and the contemporary flair is well-executed. One cannot look beyond the exceptional 'Honey Toast with Ice-cream' for dessert. Service is efficient and prompt and the staff well-informed.
