This spacious and luminous lounge bar spells opulence and yet, there is something inherently warm about it. The large and well-stocked bar at the farthest end is eye-catching. The seating area near the bar is casual, while the other area mainly for diners is staid and comfortable. One goes expecting some drama and theatrics as the name suggests, but there isn’t any. Yes, the menu is full of twists galore - their own interpretation of some Indian dishes as well as global ones, but being true to the ingredients and cuisine. Comfort food is the common thread that binds all sections of the menu. Bhatti Murgh Souvlaki is an interesting take on the Greek dish, with robust charcoal-grilled chicken served on a pita bread with creamy tzatziki. The Madras Curry Chicken Risotto perks up your taste buds and is worth a try. The fiery Konkan Thali strongly reminiscent of home food includes Pandhra and Tambda Rassa for the twist which is decidedly different. The Smuggled Cigars with Moong Dal Halwa stuffed-phyllo and luscious Rabdi is a treat for dessert lovers. The portions are generous and value-for-money. The staff is a bit sluggish but helpful nevertheless.
Ambience is so attractive and bar menu is damn interesting.. Specially, Tamasha house cocktails.. Definitely, try any of it. I liked the overall bar menu. I tried following items and here, it's my ratings - Cocktails Manhattan - 3/5 Smokey sangria 4/5 (eye catchy ) Mocktails Sundowner 5/5 (must try) Green lust 3/5 (it's not green in color 😜) Starter - Beiging chicken 5/5 Dahi kabab 3/5 Magic prawns 3/5 (medium spicy) Baked mushroom 4/5 (I liked hummus) Trilogy chicken 4/5 (9 pieces, 3 different styles) Dessert - Vanilla ice-cream truffle 5/5 (too good) Banoffee cheese cake jar 2/5 (too sweet) In other words, All four elements were happening in equal measure - the cuisine, the cocktails, the service, and the overall ambience. It's definitely worth it. Must visit.
It's dramatic name is the foremost thing which caught my attention and was on my To-'definitely'-Go list. They have an extensive menu, crazy dishes/drinks with even crazier names. *Ambience*: The fancy combination of lights and mirrors overhead makes it look beautiful. It's a huge place....with wide seating area. The lights, the music and the food all together make it a perfect party place. After 10.30pm...The lights got dimmer and the music louder...which made us get up from our chairs and dance our heart out. (Wish it started a bit earlier) *Beverages* So, we tried.. 1. Blueberry old fashioned: A whisky base cocktail... With fresh blueberries and blueberry conconation garnished with cinnamon. I myself am not a cinnamon fan, but trust me....the cinnamon content is very minimal and not empowring. So you can enjoy a nice blueberry flavoured drink without hesitating about the cinnamon. 2. Mona Darling: It is a vodka base drink... Along with melon, coriander and basil leaves...and cinnamon sticks on passionate fruit syrup. The cinnamon content in this drink too is minimal...so go for it. 3. Blood on the rooftop: A wine base cocktail containing sparkling wine, brandy, grenadine and red wine topped with a cherry. All wine lovers its a must try for you all. 😍 *Starters* 1. Chicken Gyozas: Super yum pan fried dumplings served along with a spicy peanut satay sauce and spring onion sesame dip. (Recomended for dumpling lovers) 2. Magic prawns: Kerala style prawns served along with a soft butter bread. Fresh and perfectly cooked prawns. 👌 3. Tikka Trilogy: 3 types of chicken tikkas : 1. Classic 2. Truffle 3. Achari. Served with a baked khasta naan and whole wheat salad. (Recomended) 4. Mozzarella cheese beetroot kebabs: I'm a hardcore Non vegetarian...so when I'm trying something Veg, my expectations are super high. And trust me on this...this kebab is just next level. They were so yumm as if i was having mutton kheema kebabs. Was really suprised that something like beetroot can be disguised in such a delicious way. Mains: 1. Butter Chicken Casserole: A beautifully made classic butter chicken gravy served along with a Garlic naan. (Highly Recommended) 2. Vodka Chicken Biryani: Chicken dum biryani made with vodka soaked chicken served along with raita. Yum. Yummm. Yummmmm! (Highly Recommended) *Desserts*: Melody Brownie: Highly Recommended. Won't describe it much...just go for it...I bet you on this that you won't be disappointed. *Totally Scrumptious* Overall Experience: Ambience: 5/5 Beverages: 5/5 Food: 4/5 Service: 3.5/5 Value for money: 4.5/5
Which place could have been better to celebrate pre diwali. Landed here with one of my friend and we fell in love with the place. Stunning luminous golden lights spreaded all over made it looked pretty. A small red carpet at the entrance will make you feel entering in a luxurious place and yes it is one of the best restaurants of Mumbai. The asthetics of this place is well done. Fine wood finished dining tables made this place rich and shiny. The area is super big to accommodate atleast 100 folks at a time with no congestion. Best place to have a party with friends or family. Staff is courteous and helped us in deciding the right menu for the dinner especially with the cocktails. They are available at every beck of your call. Truly an energetic place to visit, the music selection is amazing. Let’s talk about food, cocktails and dessert. Food: 1) Magic Prawns Dekh Tamasha (Highly Recommended): Chettinad (cuisine from Tamil Nadu) prawns tossed in butter garlic. The prawns used were fresh and in great quality. A pinkish brown love. 2) Mutton Galouti Skewer (Highly Recommended): Spiced Mutton Galouti garnished with coriander and ginger and served with Malabar paratha. Super delicious. The mutton will melt peacefully in your mouth. 3) Spicy Chicken and Chive Dim Sum (Recommended): Dumplings wrapped in red chillies and minced chicken and made with chive which a herb or a plant related to onion. Loved every bit of it. 4) Amritsari Mini Fish Steak (Recommended): Amritsari styled spicy marinated fish steak served with mango jalapeño dijonnaise. Yummy to the core. Cocktails 1) Blueberry old fashion (Highly Recommended): Whiskey based cocktail. Good presentation. A must try. 2) Smoked sangria (Highly Recommended: Loved the presentation of this very drink. Wine user is one of the finest and I am sure you will love it too. Dessert: 1) Banoffee Cheese Cake Jar (Highly Recommended): I strongly recommend this particular dessert, it made me feel heaven. Impressive presentation. Highly Recommended Place. Happy Eating :)
