  • Apart from the Bengali fare, they have a few Mughlai dishes too. The Kolkata-style mutton biryani is pretty authentic
  • They offer cutlets and fish fries which are perfect on a rainy afternoon
  • Though named after one of the grandest clubs in Kolkata, the seating here is pretty cramped, the decor is basic and the toilet is very spartan and small

This is a rather small restaurant at Oshiwara which is now at its second location. It is run by a Bengali gentleman married to a Gujarati lady. The couple worked in the corporate sector but their love for food made them set up this restaurant. The restaurant is quite popular with Bengalis missing home-food for the reasonably-priced Bengali fare available. The kosha mangsho with luchi, bhetki paturi with steamed rice make for a nice lunch followed by patishapta payesh for dessert.
