There are not many restaurants that are solely focused on encouraging more wine consumption the way this one is. The Wine Rack has walls adorned with racks of wine bottles, a larger than life mural that draws out a wine journey with pairings and has a wine list to rival many. With celebrity chef Sarah Todd helming the kitchen the food is a lovely mixture of global cuisine along with a smattering of some Indian favourites. Space is chic, trendy and ideal for a good meal out with friends. Come around 11 pm, the music gets louder and suddenly it is morphed into a trendy nightspot.
As the name suggest the ambience and the place is full with wine racks which offers you the best wines from all over the globe . The racks are immaculately organised as per the wines from different regions and cultures. Do request for the wine tasting experience without which your visit to the outlet is incomplete.
Wine Rack is a small Wine Bar that dedicates itself to providing excellent Wines with a great food menu.
We visited this restaurant for dinner. It was a Sunday night, but we were seated without any reservation. They have high seating in the front, which they try to sell first. However, on being asked for regular seating, we were taken to the rear section of the restaurant. A pretty good selection of small plates, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian. The BBQ Chicken was excellent. The mains selection is quite wide, but including pizzas and pastas. The wine list is extensive as the name indicates. The service was very professional and efficient.
If you are a Wine Aficionado you cannot miss this place. It offers the most exquisite wines with service to match. Our wine Sommelier for the evening was Deepanshu, absolutely courteous and good at his job👍 the menu created is in tandem with wine pairing and that enhances your experience. Ambience could have been better. But I guess with so many offices in the vicinity they targeted a different clientele. A romantic wine dinner???? Hmmmm. Can’t say😁 but something about the whole experience will want you to go back👍
We had taken a Wow Table experience. The food was good but as it was a couples tasting, the quantity was noticebly reduced. However the fish from the main menu was excellent and brilliantly made. The sangria as part of the experience was again a tad too little, but they have a gorgeous peach wine which is fabulous .Service is good and the recommendations given are excellent. The dessert was flawless and its a good place to sit back and relax.
