Urban Tadka

Visited Urban Tadka with my family for a birthday lunch, and it turned out to be a fantastic experience!

Ambience & Service:
The restaurant has a great vibe with pleasant music and a welcoming atmosphere. We arrived at 12 PM, and the place was empty initially, but by 1:30 PM, it was almost full—so expect some waiting during rush hours on weekends. The staff was extremely polite, knowledgeable, and helpful with recommendations. Special thanks to Bhavesh and Lalu for their excellent hospitality!

Food & Drinks:
We started with four non-veg starters—
✔️ Chicken Chapli Kebab
✔️ Happy Chicken Tikka
✔️ Mirch Tikka (Warning: Quite spicy!)
✔️ Nimbu Chicken (The only one with bone)

All were flavorful and well-cooked, though the Mirch Tikka packed quite a punch!

For something to munch on, we tried the UT Special French Fries, which were genuinely unique and delicious.

In mocktails, we had:

Kokum Breeze – Decent
Passion Fruit – Okayish
Peru Pyala & UT Style Nimbu Soda – Highly recommended!

For the main course, we had Kukkad Koyla Dum Masala with roti and rumali roti, which was rich and flavorful.

Final Verdict:
Overall, a great experience, and I’d definitely visit again. The only constructive feedback would be that, while the quality of starters was excellent, the quantity felt a bit limited compared to the price.

Highly recommend Urban Tadka for its starters, drinks, and warm hospitality!

Ordered their chicken 65 and biryani. Don’t know in which planet they would call that a chicken 65. Was dripping with oil and tasteless. Biryani was surly made from some cheap oils. Definitely not the standard of Urban Tadka I’ve visited other places.

Great food, service and quality. Atul who waited us was super helpful and polite. Loved the experience.

Nice place to dine. Good ambience and food taste is good.
Service also is excellent, especially Mr Ali who recommended dishes as per our tastes and preferences.

We had visited Urban Tadka as a group of friends. This place is located inside Growel's 101 mall. Overall a good restaurant serving alcohol as well. Alcohol is slightly costly if you are outside happy hours. We had ordered Beer Pint, Peach Limonata, Kali Miri Paneer, UT special French Fries, Masala Peanuts, Chapli Kabab and Paneer Butter Masala. All the items were good, not much spicy. Service and ambience is also nice.

Food is good. I don't like service.
I ordered chicken tandoori lollipop but they came with tandoori chicken and we told waiter that i ordered lollipop but waiter insisted you have to take this order and unfortunately we take that order with me parcel and pay for unwanted order then again we order that dish which we want to eat.
Very unethical behaviour.
That is the reason we are not coming back to this restaurant.
I didn't give any star for service.

Just visited this place , I would say taste wise this place was perfect. In vegetarian option must try kalimiri paneer tikka , tandoori mushroom & their hara bhara kebab was extremely delicious. Their non-veg options are also very delicious. Service wise Mr Sunil & Mr Ali took good care of us and provided us with all our requests in timely manner. One suggestion to restaurant is to think about increasing the quantity, mind you when you order starters it would be enough for only 2 people, consider 1 platter for 1 person . 1 standalone starter for 2 people and 1 biryani would also suffice for only 2 people so keep in mind about that. Overall a great restaurant to try out if you are in Borivali or Kandivali East.

Good service Bhavesh and Prashant. They have taken good care of us. The food is great and so is the service. You'll need to reintroduce the paratha combo. They are a perfect meal of your don't want to eat a regular meal.
