This fine dining restaurant with classy interiors, reopens in a new avatar with a brand new menu. The seating is plush and comfortable, and the bar at one end, attractive and well-lit. Chef Ajay Chopra has curated the food offerings in his inimitable style. Indian food from across the country, with authentic flavours, but a modern presentation, is what you can expect. The bar menu is impressive as well. The 'Malabar Seafood Soup' is hearty with intense flavours. The 'Tomato Chai', actually a lightly flavoured shorba with a dumpling, is served with aplomb. The 'Chilly Tamarind Red Snapper Ceviche' oozes freshness and crunch and is a pleasant surprise. The 'Haleem Baklava' although inventive and aesthetically presented, pales in comparison, as the haleem flavours are off-the-mark and masked. The 'Himalayan Saag', 'Aloo Thechauni' and 'Multigrain Roti Meal', is a highlight here, not-to-be-missed. Vegetarians will relish the well-made 'Gucchi Biryani'. The ingredients take centre stage here and the food is high on flavours and quality. Among desserts, the 'Chocolate Ghewar', is an absolute treat. Service staff is warm and friendly and the service, alert. The food here is a tad overpriced.
