The restaurant looks elegant with bright red couches and fluorescent lamps to illuminate the whole place. The area can double up as a café or a formal dining place. The Kasoori Macchi ke Tukde have chunks of seasonal fish marinated with freshly pounded garlic, the all amazing fenugreek and is chargrilled. The Kesari Macchi, on the other hand, has pomfret marinated in fresh curd, gram flour, fresh ginger garlic paste and egg and is chargrilled till crispy. The Kadai Se Adraki Gosht has tender lamb pieces gently cooked in a wok with fresh ginger, tomatoes, pounded spices and herbs. A unique dish to have is the Kaju Ananas Curry with chopped fresh pineapples and cashew gravy cooked with soft coconut milk and is delicately spiced.
Me and my wife went for lunch when we visited Pune in Sep 16. It has a nice ambience and we were offered options from Ala Carte to Buffet. Looking at spread we went for buffet which had 3 non veg , 2 veg dishes along with Dal, 2 starters , 2 desserts and one soup. The taste was good and staff was really courteous. Will visit again if get a chance. Dal Tadka was really good
We arrived at the restaurant and apparently we were the only patrons at that time. We were seated, given a menu of the buffet for the day. The setting and ambience was cosy. We tried the chicken clear soup, quite tasty. The non-veg and veg starters were also very good, especially the fish starter. Main course consisted of jeera rice or fried rice, daal, chana, saag paneer, butter nun, tamarind fish and chicken rara. All the dishes that I sampled were tasty. Dessert had halwa, pastry and ice cream. The pastry was bland but halwa and ice cream was again very tasty. I give it 4.5 stars. The staff was courteous, everything was made available as soon as the request was made. All of this for just 299 per person for lunch buffet! Highly recommend it to anyone.
