The idea as you know is all about appetizers and grills on the table and then you can serve some mains for yourself, ending with a varied choice of desserts. The mains are the basics like 'Biryani', 'Dal Makhni' and 'Rice'. The meat is well cooked, so it maybe a good idea for meat eaters to be relieved that the curries are decently made. It is in fact like ‘Shaadi ka Khaana’ where you get mobile starters and appetizers to start your meal with. Some are hits and some are misses. They do not partly roast the veggies or meat for the grill. To grill that and smoke that up, you will need at least 35 minutes to get things rolling. Make sure you ask the boys to partly cook them up and then serve it on the table which will very easily get things going. So, mainly the appetizers are named in a very posh manner as if you were the King and that is the meal you are eating. Classics like 'Prawn Tandoori', 'Chicken Tikka', 'Fish Amritsari' are good and they taste fine. For the mains, you will get some nicely cooked Paneer dish with a choice of Soya or Mushrooms cooked in Hyderabadi style. Stick to 'Dal Makhni' and 'Rice' or maybe the 'Biryani' as it is. Among desserts, try the kulfis which are topped with different types of toppings like 'Paan Masala', 'Oreo Crumbs' and several others.
Barbeque has started with Live Counter as well, so a must-try for non-veg lovers who loved to try Rabit and other dishes. they even serve Mutton Kema & kalaji
The starters are amazingly tasty....variety of sweet dishes...main course buffet is fine. Courteous and friendly staff, prompt service andawesome experience to enjoy with family and friends with or without any occasion!
There are huge options for starters, main course and desserts that you will get tired of eating...Literally. This place is a hit whether you are a vegetarian or a hard core non-vegetarian. Must try.
I’ve been to a couple of Barbeque Nation outlets until now, close to about 7 to be precise and this one located at Amanora Town Centre is one of my favourites. I loved the ambiance of the place and the fact that the set up was so grand that it was nothing short of a full fledged five star Sunday brunch. The place was full when we walked in at 1.30 Pm on Thursday, ode to the fact that it is one of the most popular eateries for groups and couples alike. We were placed at a table for four where we were served like kings. Service was just brilliant - Nobanita, Saurav and many others made sure that we were treated like royalty. The Moplah festival is currently on so there were a tonne of live counters that served Kerala food with an Arab influence. The Meen Pollichattu, mutton Kaleji, chicken pota and crab were my most favourite. What I love the most is how Barbeque Nation has evolved over time to accommodate necessary changes and adapt to changing times. They now have a tablet at every table where you can place an order and see the entire menu at one go. I call that development. Other than the technology bit, they’ve also redone and enhanced aspects of their food. They have a full time chaat station where you can get pani puri, sev puri, Papdi chaat, just about any chaat item of your wish. They have a live grill replete with quail, duck, rabbit and other exotic cuts which you can get made in a sauce of your choice. The live counters change with each festival- this time they served chicken Kothu Paratha, veg Kothu Paratha and Allepey Fish curry. The staple main courses were also replaced with a lot of Kerala delicacies. Enjoyed ourselves to the hilt. The Kulfi station is like an added bonus that allows one To harness their inner child. They even offer some Kulfi shakes these days that are brilliant. We just love how Barbeque Nation as a restaurant chain invests in themselves and keep reinventing the wheel time and again. Kudos and a must visit.
There are couple of BBQ Nation restaurant in and around Pune but one of the best in my opinion is this one in Amanora Mall Hadapsar. The staff is as always quite courteous and the food is the best.
If one thing can be said about Barbeque Nation is that it is surprising. The wonderful quality of food even after being so busy all the time stuns you and the surprise does not end there. Follow that with fun live grills and a generous luxurious buffet, which is guaranteed to blow your mind. Barbeque Nation will do fantastically for hardcore foodies and if you want to take someone special out for a good gastronomic treat for a Special Occasion then this place is ideal. Try the outpost at Anmora Town Center in Hadapsar, its quite spacious and comfortable.
