  • It is a rooftop, so be prepared for a fair bit of windiness when dining here. If you do not really appreciate a healthy breeze, grab the lounge sofas behind the large wall fixture for a slightly less chilly experience

A breathtaking view of the city skyline is one of the best bits of the experience here – the very spacious rooftop ambience is set off by an ivory shamiana and glass railings, with wooden flooring and seating in light warm tones, which complement the profusion of sparkly lights and lit candles. There is a flamboyant ivory circular bar at one corner of the terrace, doling out a host of haute spirits and some excellent cocktails as well. The cuisine available is mainly Mughlai, combining spices and ingredients in delectably interesting combinations. The watermelon agua fresca (dark and white rums with watermelon juice, mint and sweet-sour), flambéed peat (whisky, cointreau, litchi and pineapple juices) or treacle (dark rum with apple juice and angostura bitters) cocktails are a lovely way to start your drinking spree. Couple these with starters like zaffrani murgh ki ashrfiyan (mild, saffron spiced chicken morsels), makhmali macchi (fresh betki marinated in piquant lemon-spices) or crumbling vegetable shikampuri stuffed with a dahi ka kheema. In the mains, the laal maans is a never-fail item of spicy curry filled with tender lamb; the silky tomato gravy of the subz makhmali is finished with a hint of mawa and cream – pair these with their peas pulao and perhaps a helping of their rich, signature Makhani Dal-E-Evviva. Note – The restaurant also hosts Sunday brunches and special food festivals on a regular basis.
