The name is a mouthful – inspired from a groovy Icelandic track, it means ‘hopping into puddles’, which somehow sums up the spirit of the place. The pub’s reputation precedes itself, coming from its much vaunted counterparts in Bangalore and Mumbai. There is a feel-good Mediterranean vibe to the outlet here, emphasised by the pasty-toned ambience with splashes of bright turquoise. Feel your feet automatically tap to the lively music being belted out, as you nurse a glass (or five) of your poison of choice – we would recommend the wild berry vodkatini or the apple and curry leaves caipiroska. Food here is delicately flavoured and well-prepared, so feel free to experiment with the delicious-sounding options. The grilled fish with Tunisian spices, the lambda (cheddar-stuffed meatballs on pita bread) and the four-cheese pizza all hit the spot.
Went last evening with a group of 25 people. The management of this place had nothing setup even after advance booking and confirmation. Music was terrible. Service was extremely slow even though the place was not crowded. Food was very average with certain items like the Indie Crumb Fish, The Harissan Paneer and Piri Piri Biryani quite bad actually. Only the Stuffed Mushroom was nice and Chicken Satay too was nice. The Pizzas were also quite bad. Rates for drinks and food are not much lesser than other better places hence overall this place has nothing much to talk about. Definitely, not a place worth revisiting. Not for those who love their food and drinks and the service and the ambience.
They have a pretty ambience and good food which makes for a nice evening. Also drinks are available at a reasonable rate in comparison. This was my second visit to this place, all good everything but the music, the music played there makes me run in a different direction, they need to change the playlist or whatsoever needed. It was a major drawback because music keeps you going. All in all good for drinks n food.
We ordered a sugarcane based cocktail bucket - delicious! The place is friendly and has a positive vibe and lots of energy. The finger food was good too.
The concept of this restaurant relies on lazy drinks and nimble food... something the lot of us are not familiar with. Considering the reasonable pricing, the quantity too depletes. But I would hardly call it cheating... sensible for sure. The food is limited but interesting enough. The mojitos are really lovely! A place for large groups. Cost for three came to Rs. 3200. Comida boa, staff educado e simpático, bem decorado e agradável, música boa. Não tenho nada a reclamar
