Truly living up to its name, Pinxx has beige walls with shimmery patterns that are lit up with hues of pink, crimson covers for the chairs that go really well with the wooden floor and even fuchsia napkins – the entire ambience is a tribute to this delicate colour. The food is just as competent – try the Mahi Abe-Hayat which is soft fish chunks marinated in gram flour and yogurt and flavoured with rose water that perfectly complements the tender texture, the three cheese ravioli, the pork chops with apple sauce and the innovative chicken tikka burritos, which is an interesting desi take on the popular Mexican street food – tandoor-grilled cottage cheese and veggies wrapped in a roomali roti.
PINXX is having good ambience and the food taste is good. I have been there for team lunch and have opted for buffet, there is very limited option for starters, salads, mains and desserts. Overall a nice experience.
Had the lunch buffet here. Good starters served at the table. Very attentive service. Reasonably priced bar. Good salads but limited variety. Good desserts, again limited variety. Main courses are mediocre, the usual brown and green curries. The real downer was about 50-60 conference attendees who descended on the buffet and virtually captured the place. Shouldn't they be accommodated at the conference venue?
Went for a lunch buffet. service was very good and smiling waiters. Starters were good too , but the main course was nothing much in taste and variety. The dessert section was just about nothing to talk about. They could definitely improve on that, or reduce the prices at least. At 3 pm they switched off the Air con and it felt stuffy too , but later after we raised our voice about it , they did start it. Would not really recommend it.
We visited Pinxx for dinner. It was a great experience in this restaurant as we got exact food in the buffet. The ambience was descent and taste of food was really nice. Special thanks to Chef Sunil Negi who provided us sauté vegetable in Manchurian Sauce and Mr. Aashish Kadu who took utmost care of us while dining. All the very Best to Royal Team. Keep it up!
i visited the restaurant for the buffet dinner with my family the food taste was awesome but the choice of food is quite less and the service of staff is little slow but am very thanks full to Mr. arun he given the best service to us and my overall experience is good.
There can never be too many fine dining restaurants in Pune especially when there is such a tremendous demand for good trendy restaurants for families and friends alike. Pune is a versatile city with a deep love for food rooting from its colourful history. So it is not surprising when the city crowd is so enthusiastic regarding gastronomic delights present in the town. At Hotel Royal Orchid Central in Kalyani Nagar, there is one such place which has been a stagnant favourite of the foodies and local families for quite some time. At ‘Pinxx’ you are assured to be taken care of by their cordial and prompt staff who gives you a flawless evening. Pinxx is a quite spacious and pleasing place with high ceiling and pale washed walls making the room seem more breathable. Décor is done in a tasteful way so the effect is sophisticated and warm. A large picture window overlooks the courtyard dotted with lush plants and is a great place to sit and dine.
Food at Pinxx is multicuisine. The menu covers various national and international cuisines prepared beautifully by the chef. Their buffet draws regulars on frequent basis and is the highlight of the restaurant. However, their a la carte menu is not bad at all too. You can be more free and adventurous in your selection here. Menu opens with a lavish range of scrumptious breakfast featuring continental, Indian, American and Royal Orchid special breakfast. You can wash it down with a glass of lassi, milkshake, tea or coffee. The dinner menu is impressively long with an exhaustive display of variety. You can begin exploring the menu with vegetable dimsum, achaari paneer tikka, bruschetta Casablanca, stuffed mushroom, chilly paneer, tempura vegetables, tandoori jhinga, mahi abe-hayat, fried calamari, murgh tandoori peshawari and zarazuela soup.
You can then move on to the main section which features a fulfilling and satisfying showcase of recipes. Tuck into, baked vegetable lasagne, roast chicken rosemary, pasta bolognaise, rattan manjusha, babycorn mushroom HongKong style, gosht khada masala, slice lamb soy chilli sauce, panini sandwich, fish and chips, chicken tikka burritos, veg quiche, paneer tawa masala, mushroom risotto, grilled silver pomfret with spicy bacon and shrimps and mutton roganjosh. The dessert section is equally satisfying at Pinxx. You can order an apple crumble, death by chocolate or moong dal halwa as the perfect ending to a memorable evening.
