The best way to offset the large pitchers of iced tea here is a plate of cheese and jalapeño-drizzled nacho chips, all-American onion rings, prawn tempura or creamy mozzarella fingers. The popular Continental section contains the Geschnetzeltes of sliced chicken with mushrooms, sour cream and buttered rice, or traditional roast chicken with gravy, bread sauce, potatoes, sausages and veggies. Other pet choices are pork bratwurst with curry and grilled onions, crumb-fried fish fillets with fries and tartar sauce, or the soft, cheesy, corn and bean-laden vegetable enchiladas, served with salsa and sour cream. The ‘South East Asian Passion’ category serves up the Malaysian laksa curry with noodles, nasi goreng and a fiery Indonesian prawn rendang. Last, but not the least, a platter loaded with their dal makhani, handi ka gosht, unusual paneer rogan josh and soft lachhedaar parathas could not really go very wrong.
I love this place for the continental food they serve. Their chicken cream soup is one of my favorites and it comes with freshly baked bread. They also have good pastas. In deserts I love their tiramisu. Its on an expensive side but quality of food is good
The food was tasty. The beer chilled and the ales tasty! It's in a mall so perfect for a lunch amid some shopping :)
Being tourists in this city, we went there after reading many praises in the reviews on a popular food site. The menu options were exciting, with a wide range of European, Asian and Mexican dishes. Buffalo chicken Nachos were delicious, as was the chicken burger, which was juicy. On the down side, the burger bun was not soft; the fried fish had a thick coating of bhatter on it with not so great taste; fries were very ordinary, not gourmet; and a Swiss chicken dish we ordered, had a slightly sweetish to bland sauce, which was not to our liking. Maybe we should have tried other things....given the great many positive reviews about this place. Amongst the drinks, they had a good variety including some draughts. After placing our order for a pitcher, the server came back in a few minutes telling us that it is finished and we had to choose another one.... Overall, an average experience for us today, maybe we were unlucky...
I tried out a Caprioska and a fully loaded burger .The Caprioska was well mixed and a had a nice mix of cranberry and alcohol.Served in classic style,it was cool and comforting on a scorching Pune summer day .The full loaded burger was a slight letdown.Beef being banned ,the buffalo meat was not just right.Though it was soft, the burger was tending to breakup and have crumbs. The meat was minced fine but I suppose a lamb or chicken burger will be preferred.PolkaDots is a visit if you are in Aundh at the West End Mall. The diner resembles a Euro cafe and has great offers on booze.Comfortable seating ,calm music and a amazing ambience .
Heard a lot about Polka Dot. For my first time, I was not sure what to Order, so went with Mexican. I was disappointed. Enchilada was very dry. The filling tasted more Indian. Cheese was too thick. I think next time, I will try Thai or Italian. The restaurant was empty on Tuesday noon, still, the service was very slow.
