Food

Sandwich Express

Sandwich Express is a cafe in Kondhwa, Pune serving sandwiches, fast food and beverages. Known for coffee and desserts; ideal for coffee catch-ups and casual meals.

Not a very pleasant experience I must say. I ordered three things ie. Napoleon Grilled Sandwich, French Fries and Cold coffee for taking out.

The sandwich was not grilled well. It was prepared in haste it seemed and tasted that way. The rawness of onions, capsicums and corn used could be felt strongly while eating.

The French fries too were prepared hastily as they certainly lacked the crisp they should ideally have. It was a complete turn off.

Cold coffee was decent and packing of the food items was good. However, taste is something why one usually chooses to eat at an eatery by spending hard earned money.

I hope they better the quality of food going forward and keep their customers happy.

Good luck!

Sandwich taste is good. But the size and filling is not same as koregaon park main branch... Serve size is small and filling is less

We had order club sandwich, veg cheese club grilled sandwich, cheese Bombay masala grilled sandwich and pink spiced guava mocktail.. veg cheese club grilled sandwich was very yummy, delicious.. club sandwich was ok ok.. I personally Dnt like masala sandwich.. bt I ordered pink spiced guava too. And after ordering I got a call from them and saying guava not available should b send pineapple? I said ok send spiced pineapple but that taste was like mint Mojito.. so embarrassing for me but all over sandwich taste was so good

We ordered napolean sandwich and a chciken mexican sandwich, both were given with an amazing chutney and chips on the side, both vegetarian and the non-veg sandwich were priced same but i would say they were the price as they were tasty and fulfilling

Unfortunate experience of dining at Sandwich Express, and let's just say, the experience was anything but "express." For a place that boasts about having 10-12 branches across Pune, I’m amazed at how they manage to keep customers coming back.

Firstly, the pricing is an absolute joke. I was charged more than what was displayed on the menu. When I pointed this out, the attendant casually brushed it off by saying they "need to change that on the display menu." Oh, so we’re just supposed to guess the actual prices now? Good to know.

As for the service, if you’re in a rush or even mildly hungry, good luck. It took them a whopping 40 minutes to prepare just two sandwiches. Why? Because their priority seemed to be serving Zomato and Swiggy orders instead of the customers actually present. Maybe they should consider renaming themselves to "Sandwich Delay."

The cherry on top was the attendant who decided to tip himself by giving me 5 rupees short in change. If you don’t have the right change, at least have the decency to mention it instead of sneaking it in.

And while I was there, waiting for my over-priced and delayed sandwiches, the table from the previous customers was left dirty for nearly 40 minutes. No one even bothered to clean it until I asked. It’s almost as if basic hygiene is an afterthought here.

So, for all the pride and advertisements about having numerous branches, maybe it’s time Sandwich Express focuses on the basics: accurate pricing, decent service, and cleanliness. Until then, I’d suggest giving this place a pass.

The sandwiches are okay here, Their main USP is the chutney. But there are no fans in this branch of Sanwich Express which I feel should be an addition.
It's better you ask for a takeaway if you don't want to drench in sweat.

Absolutely love this place! Sandwich Express at NIBM is a hidden gem for all sandwich lovers. Their menu is full of fresh, tasty, and perfectly grilled sandwiches. The quality is consistent, pricing is fair, and the staff is super friendly. Whether it's a quick bite or a full meal, this is my go-to spot. Highly recommended ??

Sandwich Express never disappoints! The sandwiches are fresh, loaded, and full of flavor. Perfectly toasted and made just right. And don’t miss the cold coffee—smooth, chilled, and absolutely refreshing. Quick service, clean place, and great value. A must-visit for food lovers!
