A spanking new Pan Asian establishment in Viman Nagar, Shizusan is set in a large yet inviting space with a pretty courtyard and a cosier indoor area that is done up in quirky, Orient-inspired décor. The food here – explained via fun anecdotes on the delightfully interactive menu card – is nuanced and delights the most jaded palate. Take, for instance, the aromatic bait ho prawns tossed along with pandan leaves, galangal and lemongrass or the rich cheese wantons – both make for a flavorful start to your meal. Delve into the 'Glazed King Aubergine' (topped with velvety red Thai curry, palm sugar and hoisin sauce) or the 'Sliced Tenderloin' (tossed in oyster sauce, chilli paste and sesame oil) if you are looking for some tasty, carnivorous entrées. The mains menu is limited, but we would recommend you pair up their gorgeous 'Lamb Massaman Curry' with the oink oink rice, which is a pork lover’s personal idea of paradise.
