This new place in Pune is surely rocking the charts when it comes to some great drinks. The food is pretty alright too, the taste is average but the portion sizes are huge. Even though the portion sizes are good and the drinks taste fine, the price of everything is quite premium and you may not find it to be a value for money affair. The menu is a good mix of American and Italian, along with Nachos, Fries, Chicken Wings, along with Pasta and Pizza in the mains. The special menu of 'Chicken Wings' includes 4 types of sauces you can choose from sweet to spicy and sour. They are nice and the whole idea of those greasy chicken wings, diving in and getting your hands dirty is bound to happen. The Nachos, on the other hand, is quite nice and loaded but they miss out on melting cheese. The mains as well is a good mix of Italian and Mexican, meaty 'Fajitas' served with side salad and fries, pizza and pasta are all quite common. None of them actually are, but since you are here and you have nowhere to go, you will end up eating the mains as well here. No doubt, the portion size is good enough for two people to share. The Chicken or Lamb in the pastas is quite well made. Clearly, you have got some hits and some misses. But the major hits include the Alcoholic drinks and cocktails mainly, they are all quite well balanced and the finer part is that they are served at a perfectly chilled temperature, something certain but is largely missing at many places in the city. All and all, it is a great place where you can enjoy some drinks with some food that is decent too.
In my 2 hours at this restaurant, experienced one of the worst services and worst ever food quality Over priced and below par quality food Bad suggestions from the waiter I would request people to stay away from this joint NO VALUE FOR MONEY
This place comes alive at night and with excellent drinks and good food you need to look no further for a place to party!
Essentially a glorified bar and bar food intent on making an American statement but trying to find a proper mix with Indian food tastes. While the American standard tends toward hamburgers, fries, and bar drinks, is mixing pizza and other food options in trying to define itself relative to its Indian clientele. The restaurant on the top floor at one end of the Pavilion Mall is notably never full -- but does provide an alternative to the high bar prices of the next door Marriott -- though TGI's bar liquors and other beverages are not cheap.
TGIF was like too expensive and don't know whats special out there but when you starve in and bump in, it's like good choice. We ordered basil peach coolers, chicken strips and Mexican fiery pizza, everything was at its best. The pizza was thin crust cheesy and served perfectly for us 3. The ambience is elegant, cozy and the place is best located within the pavilion mall. A great experience next visit would try out burgers.
One goes to THI FRIDAY for reasons that will not be found here! This place is pathetically organised! The table staff is very polite and courageous in trying to cover the incompetent senior managers. I was disappointed to discover that there were NO: -Spare ribs or any pork dishes at all! -Tenderloin, or anything but chicken dishes! Well, in all fairness there was a bit of fish! -Fish and Chips are made with Basa fish; the totally tank fed, artificial tasteless junk imported from God know where! -There’s no draft beer! -There’s no Fosters Beer! -There’s no Kingfisher Premium Beer! And so many other things on the menu proudly shown to me by the smiling host at the door! As an American let me warn all who come here that the name is deceiving!
