Some clichés can be comforting, like The Great Kabab Factory’s longstanding set meal formula. For a flat price, you get a lavish spread comprising a vegetable or meat preparation, fragrant biryani, a selection of desserts and unlimited kababs – four things every epicure has a soft spot for. Over several years and branches, this restaurant has been delving deeper into the kabab, exploring new potential within it. In the rustic, dimly-lit setting of the Pune outlet too, you get a plethora, served with flavourful chutneys and condiments – make sure you get several helpings of their galouti and burrah which are iconic. If you are lucky you might even get some lip-smacking bater (quail). Spoil your sweet tooth silly with some soft rasmalai, halwa – which I have had in almond and beetroot (!) flavours on two different occasions, or the usual gulab jamun and kulfi.
The unique concept of this restaurant is the variety of Kebabs. You do have a main course ,but the starters are about kebabs .Fish,Prawns,Chicken ,KHEEMA come alive in a variety that will tempt you and seduce you.You may get filled up with the Kebabs but do keep space for the desserts. The head chef was gracious enough to make a dessert halwa with Chilly.Amazing taste of chilly without the heat.It was genuis at work. The ambience is Romancing The Kebab. The decor is classic and may remind you of Lucknow. The service is smooth and friendly. They bring the food to the table.Try and exercise before this experience so that you have a good appetite. It is wise to go slow and relish the taste of the Galouti Kebab. The pink Salmon was interesting.Explore the tastes and do not be judgemental. The variety may confuse your Taste buds ,hence be patient.Do sample the Paan Kulfi to end the meal. This is about finding Joy as a couple while the Kebabs romance and seduce you .
Very testy food and service nice ambiance polite Staff. Helpfully staff special thanks to Mr. Atul he is very kind. Thanks Will visit again .
Kebabs are very good. Dal Makhani is best. Biryani is average. The ambiance is perfect. Price is a bit on a higher side as it's in Five Star hotel.
This is an outlier in terms of hotel restaurants and a wonderful change for a business trip. The ambiance is set in royal style and the food is the set-menu format. They provide two options differing in terms of the number of kebabs on offer and each one is rightly priced. We loved the food and the variety of kebabs is amazing. The service is good and staff courteous. The chef himself came out to introduce at the end of the meal.
the kebabs were scrumptious, the food was beautiful and the desserts were delicious. Thank you for the experience and the hospitality . we will visit again.
