The Urban Foundry

The Urban Foundry is a restaurant in Kondhwa, Pune serving North Indian, fast food and pizza. Known for North Indian dishes; ideal for family meals and group outings.

The appetizers were delicious and perfectly prepared.
The elegant decor and soft background music created a relaxed and intimate setting. We had a truly phenomenal dining experience from start to finish.
Highly recommended for a memorable night out.

5/5 stars!

"I recently visited The Urban Foundry, NIBM and I'm absolutely loving it! The ambiance is amazing, with a perfect blend of industrial chic and modern vibes. But what stole the show was their incredible cocktails - the Golden Foundry is a MUST-TRY! The staff is friendly, the service is top-notch, and the food is delicious. Can't wait to go back and try more of their signature drinks! Highly recommend!"

We had been waiting to visit this place, when we finally did, it didn't disappoint us. Initially we couldn't decide about what could be eaten, but then Cajetan was a star ⭐. Every dish that he recommended was beyond our expectation. They have good service, though the place was vibing, we still managed to get a table for 2, without any wait time.

The Urban Foundry last week for lunch, at their NIBM outlet.

Kundapur Surmai Tawa Fry.. An absolute winner. It was on the fried, dry side, but spicy as eff and we paired this with Khamiri Butter Roti.. which was also beautifully done. Unfortunately, i forgot to click a pic. ?

Chamach wale Prawns.. loved them. Succulent huge prawns in a delish sauce.

Masaledaar Kurkure Mushrooms.. stuffed mushrooms; the filling a tad on the spicy side but superbly done.

Golgappe Bangkok ke.. this dish was simply not well thought out by the menu curator. It felt senseless, it tasted below mediocre. Ive had Thai Golgappas at a place now shut down (i refrain from naming coz that is the right thing to do). They used to be fab. They need to think up of something that good if they're going to call it Golgappe "Bangkok Ke".

Overall service by Gaurav was excellent.. actually, beyond excellent. Overall, quite a nice meal. We paid 2513, inclusive of 2 Coke Zeros and 5%GST. No SC was levied, but for the stellar service we got from Gaurav, we left him a well-deserved tip.

Urban Foundry never disappoints! From its industrial-chic ambiance to the delicious food and creative cocktails, this place is a must-visit for a fun night out in Pune. Whether you’re here for a casual dinner or a lively evening with friends, the energy is always spot on.

The menu is a perfect mix of quirky, flavorful dishes that pair beautifully with their innovative cocktails. Everything we tried was packed with bold flavors and presented with a creative twist!

A huge shoutout to Chris and SK for their fantastic service! They were attentive, friendly, and made sure we had the best experience. It’s always a pleasure when great hospitality matches great food and drinks!

If you’re in Pune and looking for a spot with amazing food, cool cocktails, and top-tier service, Urban Foundry should be on your list. Can’t wait to visit again! ?✨

If you're looking for great food, creative cocktails, and an energetic vibe, The Urban Foundry, NIBM is the place to be! I recently attended a tasting session and was thoroughly impressed.

The Chana Garlic Fry was the perfect crispy snack, and the Golgappe Bangkok Ke added a delightful Thai twist to a classic favorite. The Haute Basil Paneer Tandoori had just the right amount of smoky, herby goodness, while the Cheesy Italian Chicken Kulcha was pure indulgence with a rich, cheesy center. And of course, the Awadhi Chicken Biryani was fragrant, well-spiced, and beautifully cooked.

Their cocktails are just as stellar – the Chilli Forge packs a punch, the Golden Foundry is smooth and refreshing, and the Maple Anvil adds a touch of sweetness to the mix. Now if you aren’t a chocolate drink or boba lover then definitely skip the boba alloy. To end on a high note, the Old Monk Waala Caramel Custard was an absolute treat – creamy, boozy, and delicious!

Beyond the food, the ambiance is rustic yet modern, with industrial decor that creates a vibrant and inviting setting. The staff is friendly and attentive, ensuring a seamless dining experience.

Highly recommended for food lovers, cocktail enthusiasts, and anyone looking for a great night out in Pune!

Had such a great evening at The Urban Foundry NIBM! The vibe was super lively and the food was even better. I've loved this brand since its debut in KLN so many years ago!

Got to taste a large selection and here here are my top picks, The Spinach Cheese Pops, Akkha Masur Hummus : a creative spin on the classic hummus that I loved, and the Broccoli Aglio Olio Tandoorwala. The TUF Khau Galli menu has dishes inspired from the streets and nukkads of the world. Definitely try their Golgappe Bangkok Ke and Baked Tamatar Ki Chaat. From the foundry’s bhatti we tried the Kung Pao Mushrooms.

For mains we dived into the Dal Bukhara with a buttery Chur Chur Paratha, the Ghee Roast Chole Kulche and the Naga Chilli Veg. Momo Curry.
We tried a few cocktails also such as the Velvet Foundry: smooth and refreshing, the Tropical Forge had a fun, fruity twist with a kick of jalapeño and the most beautiful and interactive presentation, and if you’re a whiskey lover, you have to try the Maple Anvil — it’s strong, slightly sweet, and just perfect.

To end the meal it was a decadent Biscoff Wali Kulfi and Old Monk wala Caramel Custard.

Visited the Urban Foundry at NIBM road it was a wonderful experience. The food & dessert was so yumm with innovative names and combinations.
Their cocktails too were so yum, couldn’t choose one. The decor and ambience is perfect for a chill night. Must visit.
