Cheap, noisy, and awash with youthful vigour, Toons is the prototype of the ‘student hangout’ category of bars. The ambience takes on a typical ‘naughties’-style theme, replete with minimalistic seating, graffiti splattered on the red and white brick walls, and crowd-pleasing music being belted out in the background. The food, unfortunately, is average at best, perhaps given the USP of the place which is pocket-friendly alcohol and an evening of hedonism. So take your gang along, split a beer tower and munch on one of the burgers, pizzas or steaks while taking in the informal vibe and reliving your college days.
