Food

We Idliwale

We Idliwale is a restaurant in Kondhwa, Pune serving South Indian and beverages. Known for South Indian dishes; ideal for family meals and group outings.

Yesterday my family and I visited the Wanowrie branch of We idliwale and we enjoyed a lot.. The food was really good especially the Chicken ghee roast and the Chicken 65.. The service could have been better but the Community manager Sushant was there to take care of us.. Definitely worth a dekko.. I would give this 4.5 stars out of 5

It is a great place to explore the new variety of south indian dishes. They have perfect combinations of dosas with different masala and curries. Personally I liked their different chutneys. Also we tried their yum rawa fry I never thought it could be that tasty.

Typical South Indian Food... very authentic flavours. Service was quick.....slightly expensive but hey if you want good quality Food then that's the price you got to pay. Chicken 65 and chicken dosa is a must have.

Food Taste is very good and has variety in South Indian dishes.

Look draw back is the service is very slow as there is limited staff.

Tried this place out of curiosity for their chicken gravy with idli, and the taste truly surprised me—in a good way. We ordered idli with chicken, dosa with chutney and sambar, a kombucha, and two extra idlis. The total came to ₹710 for two people, which felt a bit steep for breakfast, considering the portion size. However, the service was fast, the place was clean, and the cosy vibe with neat architecture added to the overall experience. It’s a spot I’d revisit occasionally, maybe once a month, for a unique breakfast fix.

If you’re looking out enjoy idlis with some delicious curries then head over to We Idliwale.
We strongly recommend you to try their idli chicken and Sri Lankan prawn curry with idli.

Overall we had an amazing experience with regards to the food and the hospitality out here.

We Idli Wale – A Bold Twist on Tradition

If you’re looking for a place that dares to blend the familiar comfort of South Indian staples with bold, non-vegetarian flavors — We Idli Wale is a hidden gem worth exploring.

The menu is a standout, offering an impressive range of unique combinations — think soft idlis and crisp dosas paired with rich, flavorful non-veg gravies. It’s a creative and unimaginable fusion that actually works and will leave your taste buds pleasantly surprised.

While the service can be a bit slow, the quality and taste of the food more than make up for the wait. It’s especially a treat for non-vegetarian foodies looking to experience traditional ingredients in a refreshingly new avatar.

Must try if you’re open to experimental, soulful South Indian fusion.

I have taken 2 small girls out to eat and we requested for a fork. They refused saying they have stopped keeping forks since one month because it’s a South Indian restaurant and South Indians eat with there hands. They wanted to stop keeping spoons as well one person said ?
The girls had to use two spoons to be able to eat properly.

Food is good but the whole experience of eating is ruined.
No everyone can eat by bare hands.
We have to think twice before coming to eat here.
