An imposing signboard and a long flight of stairs lead you to the sprawling property of Wood Fire Grill. Spread across 2 levels, the restaurant’s mansion-like façade encompasses an inviting indoor section with fluorescent blue-gold seating, a bar that lights up in hues of azure, violet, and burgundy, a patio, and an upper deck with comfy divans. For mains, swab some 'Paneer Khada Masala' or 'Chicken Lababdar' with a piece of 'Naan' and follow it up with their fragrant, long-grained, perfectly moist 'Biryani'. A shout-out to the staff, who are exceedingly courteous, and to the service, which is prompt and with a smile.
I am quite a regular visitor here. Visited again this time. i think its overall a good experience every time, but I think there should be few additions to make the experience more satisfying. Waiters and Captains need to be more attentive. Service on the long tables ( in the top sections) is a difficult job, so must think about changing the table setting. Non availability of food and drinks should be pre-mentioned. Mosquitoes need to be taken care of in the open, with something other than agarbatti.
What a headache in coming to this restaurant Though Fish and Mutton were good, but this waiter Santosh Wankhede made a Bheja fry of my brains Pls think twice before going to this place
Had booked the Restaurant for a family outing. The place has a wonderful ambience with a varied menu. Service was quick and the stewards were cheerful. Overall made a super special evening for the family.

The vicinity of Kothrud is richer by the presence of a fantastic North-Indian restaurant which goes by the name of ‘Wood Fire Grill’. The restaurant when opened, quickly became a hot seller spot for local families and group of friends who take delight in the stunning ambience. Encased in a mansion like façade Wood Fire Grill divides itself into two levels one of which covers the space in a sprawling dining area surrounded by the open rooftop. The outdoor rooftop area is made even more beautiful with arrangements of lush green potted plants and clever lightings highlighting the corners. Tables are placed flanking the roof in order to give the diners a spectacular view of the city. A long family table presides the roof enclosed by a slim water moat all glowing by the lights. Over all Wood Fire Grill is a sophisticated yet casual place to take your family out for an important celebration. The restaurant is often busy so to avoid delay, make a reservation.
The staff at Wood Fire Grill will make sure that you have an exceedingly pleasant evening. They are quick on their feet and much attuned to your needs. The restaurant follows a delicious North-Indian menu which is long enough to feature numerous delectable options. Start with an array of lovely appetizers to whet your appetite such as, murgh zafrani kebab, paneer angara, crab chilli garlic, murgh yakani shorba, murgh malai kebab, veg clear soup, aloo pudina tikka, prawns kurkure, tandoori pomfret. Sabhnami kumbh, murgh reshmi kebab, chatpata tawa machchi, sunhere jhinge, paneer zafrani tikka, murgh banjara kebab, fish laal masala fry, murgh makhamali kebab, paneer makhmali and surmai rawa fry. The restaurant even serves a live grill on each table so that you can twist and turn the skewers as per your satisfaction.
The main course section is wide and varied with vegetarian, chicken and seafood choices. Grab yourself a piece of fluffy naan and soak it in the spicy hot curry like, paneer tikka masala, murgh lababdar, fish malvani curry, murgh kurchan, veg nizami, murgh chettinad, prawns goan curry, laal mas, murgh ra-ra, achari baingan, dum ka murgh, fish Maratha and nihari ghosh. If you want something light opt for a dal khichadi otherwise move onto the sweets. Shahi tukda and basundi will do fabulously. Wood Fire Grill is not very expensive and pretty pocket friendly.
