The cool, friendly confines of this mall café are perfect for hungry shoppers or others who savour a good Pan Asian meal. For a light meal, give starters such as the ginger-chilli doused pan-grilled basa, crispy fried prawn crackers, Asian-style barbecue pork ribs, or crispy black bean tofu a whirl. Their best dim sums include the pork cha siu bao, prawns har gao, chicken hot basil dumpling and veg pan-fried Chinese pizza. The list of mains is extensive – easily order the creamy prawn Thai yellow curry, chicken in chilli plum sauce, roast lamb massaman curry, or exotic vegetables in kung pao sauce. To pair with these are the excellent corn fried rice and mixed meat fried rice (egg, chicken and prawn). Alternately, try the chilli garlic noodles or veg pad Thai with tofu. Cut out the stress of too much choice with an Xpress meal if you wish, such as the lemon grass prawns rice bowl, shredded chicken noodles with pok choy, peppers and spring onions, or udon noodles with chicken sausage and black pepper – we recommend upgrading to sticky rice. For dessert, both the Snickers and Oreo cookie sundaes are adequately sinful.
Menu-style table mats with photos of dishes and their prices is very convenient, reminded me of Thailand. So went for the Masaman kae and wasn't disappointed. Peanut sauce was smooth and balanced the lamb chunks on a piping hot rice. Pork dim-sum was not available so went for the prawn and wasn't disappointed. Reliance on natural light was a tad misplaced but table top was well lit. Service was attentive and staff knew their dishes. Loved the superman banner.
This place is nice but can be better in terms of positive customer approach and speedy service . Food was not wow for sure, neither bad also. Ordered roast lamb masaman curry , chicken pokchoy. Masaman curry was perfectly simmered with well tendered mutton, with adequate quantity of free exotic veg. Noodle was also okay. Staffs needs more professionalism, as they sound, not ready to help ,when ask for something. Coming to service it needs more speedy service, as beer was lying in bar counter and server's serve it after a good gap. Rest everything was quite okay,
YO!china is very tasty Chinese food resto, I like the taste of food served here. The ambiance if this yo china outlet is awesome, this place is located inside a mall with it's own seating area, that is a great news. The staff is good, music is awesome, always crowdy, food is tasty all the time, yum yum yummy.
Recently visited Yo China phoenix mall outlet, where I found good food and service along with very nice ambiance. Big screen was there showing world cup matches.
The price is just right! We got the full value. Another plus this restaurant do not add a mandatory service charge to your bill. If you are happy pay them a gratuity! yes we indeed were happy! The pork rib had a hint of cinnamon and sweet - which was extremely good. We ate such a delicious pork rib after a long long time. The Szechuan chicken was cooked per the authentic northern Chinese style. The dimsums were very good.
No matter how many times we see Chinese food get a facelift, we are never surprised. There is such potential with this cuisine that every chef just itches to showcase it in a new creative way. We can never turn down a Chinese meal. There is such a fan following for this particular cuisine and every prime market or mall is bound to have at least one Chinese food joint and the chances are it is mostly Yo! China, which is an affordable wholesome Chinese serving restaurant. Another casual but popular version of the famous brand has pop out on the market, ‘Yo! China Café’, which is much more approachable yet equally delicious as its sister concern. An outlet of this funky branch is located in youth-central area Viman Nagar, on the ground floor of Phoenix Market City.
The name Yo! China has become synonymous to Chinese food in the country and Yo! China Café is only an extension of that. The place is more casual and relaxed than its parent branch. Out here you can savour an extensive spread of Chinese cuisine for, what we find, very pocket-friendly prices. Kick-start the menu with few beers or a nice refreshing cocktail. Accompany them with the dim sums for which the restaurant is so renowned for. Try other appetizers as well such as, veg Chinese pizza, prawns in sambal sauce, crispy black bean tofu, Vietnamese bamboo shoot chicken, chilli pork dry, Sichuan chilli baby corn, crunchy fried calamari and pan grilled basa. Ask for the fried noodles or rice to go with the gravies. Your search of the perfect bowl of ramen is at its end. Yo! China Café does a superb version of ramen.
Make your sweet tooth happy by finishing your visit to Yo! China Café with a decadent sundae or a red velvet cake or vanilla ice cream with lychee. If you happen to be a non-drinker then stick with a refreshing summer cooler. An attractive black façade of Yo! China Café opens into a wide cheerfully lit room of white exposed brick walls. Furniture is light and cosy, just perfect if you want to spend hours talking. The sight of bright pop art on the walls adds character to the room. The vibe is casual, friendly, relaxed and cheerful. Rest your feet here after a gruelling day of shopping or drop in with a bunch of foodies.
