The cool, friendly confines of this mall café are perfect for hungry shoppers or others who savour a good Pan Asian meal. For a light meal, give starters such as the ginger-chilli doused pan-grilled basa, crispy fried prawn crackers, Asian-style barbecue pork ribs, or crispy black bean tofu a whirl. Their best dim sums include the pork cha siu bao, prawns har gao, chicken hot basil dumpling and veg pan-fried Chinese pizza. The list of mains is extensive – easily order the creamy prawn Thai yellow curry, chicken in chilli plum sauce, roast lamb massaman curry, or exotic vegetables in kung pao sauce. To pair with these are the excellent corn fried rice and mixed meat fried rice (egg, chicken and prawn). Alternately, try the chilli garlic noodles or veg pad Thai with tofu. Cut out the stress of too much choice with an Xpress meal if you wish, such as the lemon grass prawns rice bowl, shredded chicken noodles with pok choy, peppers and spring onions, or udon noodles with chicken sausage and black pepper – we recommend upgrading to sticky rice. For dessert, both the Snickers and Oreo cookie sundaes are adequately sinful.
