What really gives the establishment the vibe of a chilled-out eatery – apart from the profusion of loose robe-clad expats from the nearby Osho Ashram usually relaxing here – is a menu often found at ubiquitous, small cafés in popular tourist locations. A bunch of Indian offerings brings you the likes of bagh-e-bahar (veggies cooked in a yoghurt sauce with nuts), spicy soya kheema, ghiya koftas in gravy, brown rice khichdi, and so on. There is also a fairly long list of pastas, risottos and pizzas. The restaurant is eggetarian and serves delicious omelettes and scrambles on the breakfast/brunch-oriented menu. Sample the croissants (not very buttery, but then, they are trying to be healthy) loaded with toppings, or bite into an organic brown rice salad with greens, olives and tofu in a dressing of olive oil and balsamic vinegar. The pancakes – apple-honey-cinnamon or Nutella-banana –go well with a cup of hot coffee.
