Fusion cuisine is the new black, and if there’s one restaurant in the city that has truly hit it out of the ballpark when it comes to this particular culinary genre, it is Zora. With simplistic, airy decor, it is the menu that does all the talking here. From a spicy okra salad with an ‘aamchoor’ vinaigrette base, Amritsari bombil with a flavourful mango-chilli chutney, prawn balchao theplas, methi brain masala, to the lobster nihari with brun pao, this place basically pulls off a delightfully chaotic mishmash of wildly different food styles and manages to do a fantastic job of it.
I like the open air area with its wrought iron furniture. The soups and starters were very good. Unfortunately on this occasion their signature butter chicken was nowhere close to what they normally serve. Everything else was good. Bit pricey.
Visited this restaurant seeing good ratings but do not understand why such a high rating for this place. The ambience of the hall is not very attractive, service was pathetically poor waiters were putting food on the table and running away, we had to wait for the next waiter to come so that we can order and once even said we do not serve on your plate and was very-very rude, the drinks were served after starters. In starters we ordered paneer lasooni tikka which was not good though liked Red chilly makai seekh. in main course mushroom tikka masala was ok but paneer makhani was not good (the gravy was like water).
This place boasts of a well designed menu and excellent cocktails. Very good for large groups! Service is good.
We had a family get together of about 40 people. We were given the inside hall dedicated for us. We the starters were excellent. And the main course excellent. Main thing was the manager there was very nice looking into small things and making sure that the food served was hot. The ambience was fantastic and we all enjoyed our time together. It was a memorable evening.
outdoor seating, bar, music in the background are some of welcome things here which add to the enjoyment at this restaurant..though some sheen was missing but taste of course remains..non veg dishes are having funny names ...
