Food

A Tavola Con Te

A Tavola Con Te is a restaurant in Tapovan, Rishikesh serving Italian and pizza. Known for Italian dishes; ideal for family meals and group outings.

I had the quattro formaggi pizza, and it was undercooked. The layer of cheese was too thick and not fully melted. The service is decent, and the space is nice. It cost roughly $5 USD. My standard of pizza is pretty high because I’ve been a pizza chef for years, so take that into account haha.

Nice ambiance, but the pizzas were missing flavours, service was slow and not the friendliest. I wouldn’t recommend the marinara pizza, I thought it would be a good vegan option, but barely had any flavours other than garlic. My partner ordered the Bianca Rustico and he described it as a cheese steak with onions, which is not exactly how a pizza should be. Prices are too high for what you get.

Really good italian food if you want a little break from indian food. Fair prices and really nice staff. The pizza is a little small.

Food: The wood-fired pizza is a standout, with a rich, smoky flavor and a wide variety of topping options to suit any preference. Their menu also features a great selection of pasta and lasagna, each dish prepared with authentic flavors that make it worth every bite.

Desserts: Be sure to save room for dessert, especially the panna cotta—creamy, delicate, and a perfect way to end the meal.

Ambiance: The seating is comfortable, and the space is open and welcoming, creating a relaxed atmosphere ideal for both small and large groups.

Service: The staff is courteous and attentive, adding to the overall positive experience.

Location and Pricing: While the restaurant is a bit off the beaten path, locals are helpful with directions, and finding it is worth the effort. Prices are on the higher side, but the quality and authenticity of the food make it worthwhile.

The location is bit secluded as it is located off the main road. While even Google Maps was unable to tell the exact location. It is very simple place with an average ambience but with an epic food quality. The service is average because the waiter forgot our order and brought something else and it was difficult to convince him that we didn't order that dish. Pasta was fresh and made on order but the Pizza was AMAZING. Incredibly Delicious Pizzas I think the Best in Rishikesh. They have Gluten free and vegan options as well. I would highly recommend everyone to visit this place if you really wanna have the best authentic Italian Pizzas.

Great Italian food. Pizza was very good. Tiramisu and penna cota was delicious too.

We visited A Tavola Con Te after hearing some good reviews about them.

The service is top notch, the staff is very polite. They even suggested us some of their best dishes to try. Nothing to complain about.

The atmosphere is okayish. It is not located in the main area and might feel a bit secluded to some. The atmosphere is pretty chill and it can even get very quiet sometimes.

Coming to the food. We order Quattro Formaggi, Al Capperie Olive pasta and Tiramisu.

The Pizza was good, the dough was perfectly baked. The crust thinness was perfect. There was a cheese on the pizza that we didn’t like but that was just because we were not used to that cheese.

The pasta was average. We felt that the pasta sauce was very concentrated which made it feel more salty. The tomato and olives used didn’t feel that great.

The Tiramisu was not at all good. It felt more like a pastry. The lady finger biscuits were alright but the texture of mascarpone cheese was really off. It was not smooth and the texture didn’t feel quite right. We have had better Tiramisu at much affordable rates elsewhere.

People think that they can put a woodfired oven and then start a pizza restaurant anywhere in India.
But it doesn’t work like that because pizza making is an art and this Restaurant know nothing about making a pizza.
Their pizza base is too soft. They put excess mozzarella cheese on the pizza. Also, the chilli olive oil has some rusty kind of smell and.
Overall the Pizza doesn’t worth the money.
Because they are charging ₹500 for a pizza that is not even 10 inches size. I have been to some very nice pizza places and they charge the same money for 12 inches size delicious pizzas.
So, they are following all the standards except making a good pizza.
I came here after reading with some reviews, but now I can say that some of them may be fake.
? things they can improve
- Quality of Pizza very first thing
- Good quality Chilli flake and oregano (because they are charging ₹500 and the quality of oregano and chilli flake is very cheap)
- A good quality virgin olive oil with different flavours.

Until then this is just a money making machine for the owner of this restaurant.
