The place has been newly renovated and is now called Black And White Café, located right beside the Royal Oak furniture showroom in Lapalang. I really liked the aesthetics, especially the 3D touch to the interiors. The food is of good quality and reasonably priced, and the staff are warm and friendly. We tried the Chicken momo, Chicken Pakoda, and Korean Chicken Fried Rice — the Pakoda stood out for me. It’s a nice spot to hang out if you’re around the area, definitely worth a visit. I’m also looking forward to trying their Chicken Potato Fries with honey on my next visit.

Best place to hangout with friends and family. Not that much crowded. Also far from the congested Lapalang market. Good food. Better quality and quantity. I had Shezwan fried rice. It was better, recommendable. The taste was better, spicy. The quantity was worth for the price. The menu is mostly Chinese and Indian. The price is okay, not that much expensive. The quantity and quality of the food is worth the price. Next thing I have to highlight of this place is the ambience. Outstanding ambience. Better sitting arrangement. The walls are painted in black and white, somany cartoon characters. The place itself done the justice for the name "2D CAFE". Service was better. Have UPI payment option. Parking space is really less.

Nice ambience. That 2D effect really looks nice. If only the food was a little better. Chicken Chop was good. Chicken Roll had too much tomato sauce and was too sweet. Prices are okay though.

The food was good. I tried the pork chow and it was good. I also tried the honey chilli fries which was okay-ish. The ambience is chill and not so crowded. Loved the interior decor, very creative yet subtle. The service is good and i think it's quite reasonable.

Regrettably, upon arriving, I immediately felt inclined to withdraw as the café was not as I had envisioned it to be. Furthermore, the space was significantly smaller than what the promotional video on Instagram had portrayed, rendering it unsuitable for individuals who suffer from claustrophobia. Parking was also problematic, and future patrons should consider this when planning a visit.
Despite ordering starters, these were only served after we inquired about them twenty minutes or so later. The main meal took no less than eighty minutes to arrive. The service was substandard, lacking in the common etiquettes that cafes and restaurants generally adhere to. Patrons could not expect to be served a jar of water, a glass of water, or even a bottle of water. Unbelievable, right?
Our tasteless meal left us extremely dissatisfied, particularly the mixed fried rice, which was more black pepper than a mixture. We had to wait for everything we requested, for at least two or four minutes during or before the food. Unfortunately, this did not end when it came time to pay, and we were made to wait during this process as well.
Businesses make mistakes, but they should not be careless. I saw a soapy tinge on my fork. This was our experience at a supposedly upscale café.
Finally, the café's location and ambience were both unsatisfactory. The menu and food quality were both disappointing, with insipid food and a menu that did not match our requirements. The service was poor, lacking in fundamental manners, and slow. Finally, the café's prices were exorbitant in comparison to the total experience.
