I went there in search of authentic Arabic taste when one of my friend told that the Shawarma from Bait made her miss home (she originally hail from Kuwait).
The food do have a special flavour and their garlic paste is one of its kind. The taste was indeed authentic ...but it was not the best Shawarma I had..
They have a small comfy seating area, suitable for only small group of ppl.

It's a really cute cafe and I loved the whole vibe there. The food was extremely delicious and they literally served authentic Arabic food. The hummus with chicken was very good considering the quantity also. The pot beef was the star of our dinner!? It's a small outlet but still manages to accommodate quite a few. FYI you better reserve a table in advance for weekends!? The customer service was great too. ❤️
I also got an opportunity to taste their Bischoff cookie and chocolate brownie. I felt like the brownie to be named to be just a simple chocolate cake and it was really yum. But honestly I was not very happy with the taste of the Bischoff cookie. Something was terribly off for the taste of Bischoff cookie. It's just an opinion of mine.

Though i live in pettah it took me this long to try our this small cafe space in theatre road. Bait is a relly small cafe space run by some young folks. Though i liked the ambiance, the only taste i liked is the beef that came with hummus and a cookie. Tried their falafel, hummus with beef, kadak chai and shawarma roll. Shawarma was the highest disappointment with no taste at all. Kadak tea was jst 10% of a good tea that we ever had. Overall disappointed with the food. Considering its a cafe the ambiance and space also have to have some quality so someone to feel like sitting for a long time. But they dont even offer that. As its a small place everybody can hear what others are talking. Its a really small set up so expecting proper space and ambiance is my fault. They did their max in making it cozy. Cookie deserves a special mention and its really really tasty
