A restaurant with stunning interiors and great staff.
The food however is OK for the prize being charged.
We had various dishes and almost everything was OK nothing outstanding. The pita bread that came in mezzo platter seemed out of packet which is travesty for such a pricey restaurant.

Overall a place you can give a miss

The ambience of this restaurant was truly captivating. The lighting was perfect and the decor was tasteful and inviting. It was the kind of place where you immediately feel comfortable and can settle in for a wonderful evening.

The food also lived up to the setting. The menu offered a great selection, and every dish we ordered was prepared with care. The flavors were fresh and well-balanced, and everything was presented beautifully. From the appetizer to the main course, each bite was a delight.

This restaurant is a fantastic choice for anyone looking for a place with a great vibe and equally impressive food. I'll definitely be returning!

AWESOME TASTE

The ambience of the place is very good. Team is friendly. Many dishes were very common but taste was absolutely awesome. Slightly expensive but quality and service takes care of extra cost. Valet service is available. Needs improvement in terms of visuals , no marking that restaurant is at first floor. Once entered in the lift , no indication that at which level restaurant is.

We came to Makeba expecting a fine-dine experience based on the pricing and ambience, but it turned out to be nothing close.
Right from the start, the staff was inattentive and barely responsive. No sense of hospitality or professionalism — just a cold, robotic attitude.

We started with a soup that, to be fair, was the only highlight of the evening. It was well-balanced and flavorful. Unfortunately, it all went downhill from there.

The main course was a complete disaster — bland, poorly presented, and shockingly below average for the kind of prices they charge. Honestly, even a basic cafe serves better food at half the cost.

What’s most frustrating is the mismatch between the pricing and the experience. You expect finesse, flavour, and service when you’re paying fine-dine rates. What you get instead is mediocrity on a fancy plate.

Not returning anytime soon. There are far better places in the city that know how to match their hype with actual quality.

Very attentive staff and very courteous too. All service given with a smile. Nothing was too much trouble. Jigar was very helpful and quick to suggest some fantastic dishes. Really enjoyed our experiences. Have visited the Vadodara branch about 10 times in the last 4 weeks and have highly recommended to several nri friends and family!! Well done...got it right ✅️ ?❤️

House of Makeba offers a great dining experience with good momos and excellent curries and garlic naan. The place has a nice vibe and consistently delivers on quality and taste. Definitely a spot worth revisiting. Also great service by Jashan!

We had ordered a pizza and frappe. Frappe was just the best but pizza could have been a lot better.
Service was good.
Atmosphere was too too noisy. I was with a friend and we literally had to scream our lungs out so that we can hear each other.
Not recommended in rush hours.
Valet parking is available.
