Gardenia serves a variety of cuisines but it is most known for its North Indian food. It caters to the Indian as well as the foreign palate as it offers many Continental and Chinese dishes but it also has everyday Gujarati dishes. The restaurant has a nice ambience with lots of plants outside the wide glass windows in keeping with its name. The service is good and the music is soft and kept at low volume which does not hamper conversation. Vegetarians should try their Ginger Crispy Vegetables, Bhindi Bharta nu Shak, Dal e Fortune and pair it with Makkai Motiya Sheekh as a starter. The non-vegetarians should go for Chicken Walnut Soup and Rojan Josh and pair it with Pudina Paratha. If you like Chinese cuisine, the Shredded Lamb in Szechwan sauce should be given a try. The food is good but Gardenia is still trying to find its one spectacular dish.
