One of the most authentic Chinese Restaurants in town, Nanjing keeps it simple and tasty. Situated on the top floor of CG Square Mall, the restaurant has classy interiors though it is not overtly Chinese in its décor. It also serves good Asian food and has a lot of variety. Nanjing is one of the few places in town where one can find several pork preparations. Their quantities are also big and their staff is helpful and knowledgeable about their menu. Try their Lemon and Coriander Soup or Nanjing Special Soup both of which have vegetarian and non-vegetarian versions or even the Spinach, Bean Curd, Bean Thread and Shiitake Clear soup. They have great starters. Do try Drums of Heaven, Spare Ribs, which fall off the bone or Stuffed Crab Shells. Vegetarian can try Jade Roll or Baby Corn And Mushroom. For the main course, non-vegetarians should try their Roast Pork with Mushrooms and Bamboo Shoots, Kung Pao Prawns Dry or the traditional Chinese Roast Chicken. Vegetarians also have a wide spread of main courses to choose from. Try their Hidden Jewels In A Cave or Saucy Okra. Their prices are reasonable so it will not dent your pocket.
This is one of the better Asian places in Ahmedabad - inside CG square mall, just opposite the multiplex. The ambiance is good - not great but quite good. The food is actually quite good but some things like the fried rice and tofu can be a hit or a miss.
If you are in Ahmedabad and craving for some great Chinese Food nanjing in CG square mall is for you. Based on where you are staying this is a very nice place indeed. ( Mainland China at Satelitte would be the other ) .. Food is tasty- good portions and overall a very good experience .. For the REELO lovers- it is accepted at this outlet. Budget - 1200 for 2 but they also have a buffet option for the weekdays
The Service is great, portions are big and filling, extremely tasty , definitely a come back place ! keep it up !!
The Nanjing restaurant was rather nice. The Lemon Corriender Chicken soup was very nice, the fried rice, noodles and Singapore prawns were all good. The ambiance is okay and seem to be always full. We also had the mushroom which was nice too. A good place to eat if you would like to have some Indian Chinese food.
It has a nice open ambiance and is quiet. Staff is knowledgeable and helps you in choosing the right dishes. The food is great, not the best I have eaten but very good and not too pricey either. The prawns dishes were the best.
