This is the place to go to indulge yourself or if you want to impress someone. The place is done up elegantly in brown, beige, ivory and with granite on the walls. The furniture is made of good wood. The restaurant is large and it has a beautiful chandelier on the ceiling. All in all, it is a great place for a lovely meal. The restaurant offers buffet lunches and dinners and they are the best in the city with four non-veg dishes, almost a dozen vegetarian dishes, starters, soups, a large salad bar and a huge dessert section. Really, it is worth the cost of the meal though the pricing is on the higher side. The service is good but when the place is crowded, it can be slow. Timpani also has the best Sunday brunches with a huge spread. So huge that you will be hard pressed to be able to taste everything on offer. It is a must-visit place, at least once.

To tickle your appetite you can try, crumb fried sliced sole, Burmese vegetable parcels, gilafi seekh, American hot wings, papdi chaat, golden fried prawns and uttappam. Second course gets more exciting with, tandoori chicken tikka pizza, gujarati kadhi, all-time favourite Thai curry, home style lamb curry, ma po bean curd, farfalle pepperoncini and grilled exotic vegetable parmigiana.
Timpani doesn’t do alcohol, better stick with a cooler or a mocktail. Round off the meal with something sweet. Polish off, pista gulab jamun, apple crumble with vanilla ice cream, lemon & berry tart, country style tiramisu, kesari rasmalai and chocolate truffle. Timpani also has the Sunday brunches that are a huge hit. Prices are a tad higher. The main dining room is classically decorated, the way most hotel restaurants often are. Gleaming spacious room furnished with formal dining tables and huge chandeliers instantly adds elegance to the restaurant. Colourful LED lights casting the room in purple hue lends a lounge-like feel. The restaurant is equipped to handle large groups of diners comfortably. It’s a good spot to take your family out for a lavish meal.
