If you are a vegetarian and want to enjoy Chinese, Japanese and Thai cuisine this is the place for you. It serves innovative dishes and has great presentation also, rare in the city indeed. As one enters the longish corridor lit up with red lights one is transported to another world. Further, as you enter the large restaurant you see the huge sculpture of Buddha’s face which dominates the whole place. It is quite an overwhelming experience. The décor of the place is well done and the staff courteous and well trained. But it is the food that attracts customers repeatedly here. Start with 'Oriental Rainbow' or the traditional 'Thai Soup Tom Yum Phak' to begin with. 'Tempura' is a good Japanese appetizer which is worth trying or you could go for 'Chilli Honey Lotus Root'. The 'Penang Mushroom Curry', a 'Malaysian Spicy Coconut Curry' with vegetables, served with a bowl of 'Rice' is awesome in taste. Another fabulous main course is 'Three Treasure Vegetable'.
Well ,First of all I am not a great enthusiast of expensive vegetarian food and that too in Ahmadabad where everything is vegetarian. The place had good reviews in zomato and my wife had a few references to visit the place. I was in for a shocker. Ambience: 12 out of 10.What a theme and the Buddhist Music adds the delight. Very spacious..Neat and Clean..Every nook and corner arranged. Service : The young waiters know what each dish contains and can well guide you to your perfect choise. Food : It was splendid and carved to perfection by the chef.He comes to each table personally and that adds the human touch. We tried Lemon Corriander Soup and it was at its best.Similar to Mainland China taste. Starter we had Indonesian Satay and the way it was soft and succulent speaks volumes on quality. In Main course we had the Rainbow Sizzler ( One enough for 2 people ). It was mind blowing. Some herb rice with french fries and 2 corn cutlets all blended to perfection. I saw the desert menu and ordered Pineapple roast with icecream topping and that ended the course on a very high note. Its not possible to describe the taste till one has it. They had the feedback form filled up and were quick to mail a 15 percent discount on next order which to me is very professional approach to marketing. This will be the first Veg restaurant which will call me again and again. A must must must try. Lunch for 2 pax is 1000rs approx. One point which i didnt like in entire duration was suddenly they switched off Ac and music .It was getting warm and i had to ask them to turn ac on. Menu is mostly pasta..sizzlers..noodles and rice based Asian theme dishes.
The ambience is quite good and place is huge, so seating shouldn't be too difficult. Menu is varied and sounds interesting. Servers are a bit slow, but do their job. The food is nowhere near close to Chinese. The similarity ends with the name on the menu card. Food tastes good as such, but you can't call it authentic. Preparation is quick and portion size is good. Sizzler seemed to be a favourite among most of the diners. Mocktails were okay. Not recommended for people looking for proper Chinese meal.
I visited this restaurant with friends for lunch. Sizzler and starter was nice. Soup was avgerage. If u want to try thai or chinese food, u can give it a try.
Last night my wife and I fancied a Chinese meal and decided on Shihai at Agora Mall. We had not been here for some time. What a disappointment...... the quality of food has really gone downhill. This is no way an authentic Chinese or Pan Asian restuarant. On the menu card it all sounds and looks good but the taste is just not there! The service is also very average. The staff really need some training. For a fine dine restaurant the service is not up to standard. The only good thing I can say about this restaurant is the ambience. People get WOWED by the decor, lighting and ambience but food taste, quality and service is far more important for me. Its a real shame because this used to be a nice restaurant but cant say that today!!! Would i visit again.... maybe not.
We were there for a B'day party of our Friend. Place has got really great Mandarin theme based Ambiance. You would love it. Food is really good. Not too spice unlike the Indian Chinese version. Service is the only point in which it lacks. I felt the Waitresses were absent minded and weren't proactive. This could be improved. Otherwise it was a great experience being there.
