Barbeque nation stands as one of the major barbeque restaurants across the country. They have pioneered the use of barbeque or grill on the table. With ample live counters for exotic meat, kulfi and special one’s set-up for festivals, a meal at Barbeque Nation is usually an affair of pomp and gaiety. With barbecue and non-barbeque options like 'Mushroom', 'Paneer', 'Patty', ‘Assorted Exotic Grill Veg’, ‘Cajun Potato’, ‘Pinapple’, ‘Crispy Corn’, ‘Potatoes’, ‘Mutton Sheek Kebab’, ‘Tangdi Kebab’, ‘Chicken Drum Stick’, ‘Deep Marinated Fish’ and more, you can take a hard pass on the main course. From the main course, try the ‘Dal Makhani’, ‘Crabs’, 'Seafood with Rice and you are sorted. If Chinese is more of your thing, find solace in ‘Noodles’, ‘Manchurian’, etc.
Liked the food choice as well the quantity- the service is good, they keep getting skewers to your table. Seating arrangements need to improve- gets hard to move around.
We visited the barbecue nation at Rajaji Nagar on Sunday night and it was nothing short of disappointing. They had some kind of punjabi/ dhabha festival on and the waiters were dressed for the occasion. However there was this one waiter in yellow who was filthy and kept scratching his head while serving food. The table we were on was dirty especially the grill area and we were repeatedly served the same kebabs - despite them claiming an elaborate menu. It was a boneless and with bone version of tandoori chicken, garlic prawns and fish. The quantity was large but the food tasted bad and the meat was over done. The same was the case with the buffet spread which was super crowded and equally dirty with waiters walking around with the Kebab skewers and dirty plates. The kulfi and the gulab jamun in desserts were decent and probably the only edible stuff in the spread. The waiters kept seeking feedback despite the fact that we sat on a table that had water dripping over from the roof (T-36). Not sure if they did not understand or did not care. An experience not to be repeated and absolutely revolting to the taste buds outside of the dessert.
We were visiting Bangalore palace and wanted to find some dinner place. The place is a bit congested compared to indiranagar, and in addition due to nearness to school, there is no liquor available. The food and service is good as any other barbeque nation. Overall a good value for money deal. We had some foreign visitors and they were very happy with the food (some other restaurants being told we want less spicy were still not able to customize
Great food ...excellent if all you want to do is eat and crash out..the starters are unlimited and are served till you lower the flag kept on the table. the buffet is good and so are the desserts my kids love the special treatment , cake cutting and singing on the special days. Food quality at the Rajaji nagar outlet is way better than the one at Lido mall
Visited the place over the last weekend of Jan 2018. A long wait of over two hours, the lunch time really went into a high tea time. Crowded with few to take care of finer details of serving with patience, the entire staff seemed to be in a hurry and as a result few hiccups ...undercooked meats and veggies, delays in serving , inadequate attention. I felt they had too much on their plate to handle and with not as much resources in hand. Needs a better management and professionalism.
