Every single time I head to Phoenix Mall, I know I will have my 10,000 steps for the day taken care of. That mall never ceases to amaze me and tire me! Anyways, if you want a quick bite to eat but do not want to head to the food court or the fancier places in the mall, then this makes for a nice pit stop in the middle of the mall. They serve good draught beer which is a plus, some wines and wine cocktails, all of which give you a nice respite from shopping. You can make a start with the 'Peri Peri Wings' and some 'Prawn Tempura', both of which are done quite nicely for the kind of space that it is. Value for money, perhaps would be the right way to put it. Jump straight into the main courses, which are in general complete meals on a plate. The 'Penne Pasta' in a creamy pesto sauce with chicken, a spaghetti 'Bolognese', some 'Grilled Basil Chicken' with Herbed Rice, Mustard Fish with Mashed Potatoes as well as 'Mushroom Lasagne with a Mixed Sauce'. All of these good for a quick meal at the mall. There are also burgers – the 'Big Bang Lamb Burger' would be one I would recommend. There are also the hand-tossed pizzas that you can try. For dessert, end with some 'Mango Cheesecake' or the 'Crème Caramel with Orange Chantilly'. Perhaps the only grouse would be the restaurant is placed smack in the centre of a lot of people walking about and having to see somewhat grimy chefs manning the stoves
Great place to have a quick bite in Phoenix mall. Open seating does hinder privacy. Also lucky to find a seat quickly as it is usually crowded on weekends. Ordered veg pasta, pizza and lasagne. All the dishes were value for money and tasted good.only drawback was the server. With loud music in the background very difficult to make him understand what we wanted. Also he was more interested in taking order than serving us water first. Had to ask him thrice as we were really thirsty. Would love to go there again and try other things.
The big bang burger was one of the best ever I had. Enjoyed it with some Sula Wine. The other food was also good.
We have been here few times already and we love the atmosphere. The place looks cool, good service and love the veg lasagna. The only downside is that they do not have cafe(in a Cafe?) It would be great if you include in your menu. Definitely recommended in the area.
Decor, Service, ambience and food -this is what people review it for. What about business ethics and morality ? In the middle of a residential area with hundreds of apartments and residences within 20 m distance - playing loud music till midnight, in an open plan set up wrecking havoc on the “Right to life” of all residents in vicinity. Just think about the kids who have to go to school next day early, kids who have exams, residents who are old and want to sleep, or someone on a conference call from home. Yes - B&G has a right to play music till late as per municipal rules but are the rules applicable to a set up without walls? Not really - have raised this a couple of times with management but looks like either they don’t care about people or just care about money- in both cases the place is not worth a visit.
I am writing this review after visiting this place couple of times in the last few weeks. All the 3 occasions, I had a meal here, I felt the food was awesome. Rice, Pasta, starter, salad, mock-tail - all the items we tried here were nice. Considering the place is inside Phoenix mall, I felt the prices were also in medium range. However, I have tried all vegetarian items and my review is based on the same.
The name ‘Barbeque Nation’ always gets my mouth watering as images of sizzling hot kebabs on grills and endless servings of curries fills my mind. Atmosphere is always noisy here, filled to the brim with chirpy families and large groups of friends coming in to enjoy the endless pleasures of this wonderful chain restaurant. Barbeque Nation has to be the fastest growing chain of restaurants in the country. The brand is responsible for revolutionizing the concept of family-style dining with its interesting gimmicks of live grills and pre-fix bills. Mumbai alone has about thirteen outlets of Barbeque Nation and practically each vicinity has one. If you are near Navi Mumbai then try the one in Sector 6 on Palm Beach Road in Nerul. From its first-floor perch, it attracts quite a crowd of gourmets.
We all know Barbeque Nation to be a food mecca where you can indulge in several cuisines at the same time. On one hand you have the pleasure of feasting on splendid North Indian cuisine and on the other there is Chinese, Mediterranean and Continental cuisines. Every table gets a personalized live grill on which you can try your hand by playing chef. For a pre-fix bill you can eat to your heart’s content. For first course nibble on, mutton seekh kebab, paneer tikka, peshawari chicken, tandoori mushroom, barbeque fish, Cajun spicy baby potato, afghani mutton seekh kebab and crispy corn chilli pepper. In main course mop up the curries like, Indian crab curry, biryani, mutton curry, oriental fish gravy, chicken biryani, crab masala, veg noodles, prawn curry, dal makhana and paneer butter masala.
To end the meal on a strong note pick a few flavours from their live kulfi counter. If not, stick to the conventional classic desserts like, brownie, pudding, ice cream, gulab jamun and pastries. With a lychee flavoured mocktail give your meal a refreshing finish. Service is smooth and cordial. Staff takes care to keep refilling your grill with appetizers or anything else you might need. Like every other Barbeque Nation outlet, this one too is decorated in earthy wooden shades. Every table is shielded by a low faux brick wall to accord the diners some privacy. Sit in their breezy terrace section if possible for a relaxing meal with family. The vibe is informal and cozy here. Go someplace else for a quiet atmosphere, Barbeque Nation gets noisy.
