Bearfoot Café is an old house, with each room serving as a seating space, and plenty of quirky art and hand-drawn musings on the wall to keep one entertained. The name Bearfoot appears to have a twofold meaning, as one leaves ones footwear at the door, and roams around, well, barefoot! The wooden chairs with wheels on the sides are surprisingly comfortable, and there is also floor seating in one of the bedrooms. The breakfast menu includes 'English Breakfast', a variety of omelette and other egg preps, pancakes, oatmeal and cornflakes too. Starters include finger foods like 'Fries' and Wedges' as well as 'Nachos and Chicken Wings'. Seafood lovers should try the 'Golden Fried Prawns' and the fish fingers. Salads, soups and sandwiches, both veg and non-veg are also part of their menu, and we noticed that everything was being made on the spot, to order. They have lots of choices for beverages, including a variety of hot and cold coffees and teas, smoothies, mocktails, and shakes. Try the 'Bearfoot Special Shake' or the 'Kit Kat Shake'.
Recently on my birthday, my friends threw a surprise party here. My friends with the cafe owners organised it so well, that I am sure me all of us had made some memorable moments. As soon as I entered the cafe, I traveled back in time. The first thing I spotted was TV Video game which I used to play in my childhood . It took back to memory lane in the late 90s. The interiors and the ambiance is very pretty and artful. This cafe serves well for birthday parties as well as a hangout place. The food was really good, we had pizzas, sandwiches and fries and all of them tasted really well. I will revisit this place with my friends and will definitely will organize a birthday celebration soon.
Great artsy ambience with tasty food...outdoor section is there as well.. bring your friends along and have a good time with board games, books and delicious food
