Minestrone literally means “big soup” and the minestrone genovese soup here is packed with a combination of vegetables and stodgy pasta enhanced with some basil pesto. The chicken spring roll has a sesame flavoured crispy crackly skin with tender crisp vegetables and is served with a tasty chilli mayo dip. The adraki aloo matter ki tikki are quite addictive and are filling. It has mashed potatoes and parboiled mashed peas with the right balance of spices and a hint of ginger. The food goes down well with a sweetened glass of lassi.

We have been visiting “Brunchilly (RBD Sarovar)” quite regularly for buffet lunch and our experience is really good and very satisfactory keeping in mind getting friendly service in 4 start hotel restaurant. Variety of dishes, food taste and quality overall gives us pleasure to have nice feeling when leave the place.. One of the best things I like about Brunchilly to have Executive chef Mr. Santosh Kumar and assistant chef Loopa Mudra who personally interacts with guest and take care at best possible. Sometime it happens some dish is not up to individual expectation/taste or something is missing, it also happens here in Brunchilly. We also felt occasionally this dish is not well prepared or missing then Brunchilly Chef’s offer alternate choice of our interests which is really big compliment for any guest. Chefs are very interactive, friendly nature and they take care of guest personally. We personally feel if any restaurant is taking care of guest interests then one should really visit such place and try out self experience……..
Across the road from my office, on my first day, I went to the place. I ordered Minestrone soup and Spaghetti Pasta. I was pleasantly surprised. The soup had good consistency though the pasta used could have been of a better variety. The Pasta was cooked al dente. I love interacting with the chefs and here is where Chef Lopmudra made a difference. Her preparations were very good and she was extremely amiable to discussing the recipes.
I had gone last week for a buffet lunch and visited after a space of 3 days, so this review actually covers 2 days. 1st visit: Buffet on Friday was okay. Limited veg starters and the restaurant was showing the strain of coping with last groups of office goers. Starters were served on the table. Food was standard fare though of slightly better quality and value for money. 2nd visit: Wednesday after 3 days was a disaster. it looked like the buffet had stopped or only reserved for Fridays There was something like a set meal with food served on the table. Again the only dish for vegetarians was paneer in different forms while non veg seemed to be okay. There was a strange combination of vada pau with soup and badly cut onions as salad The whole concept seemed to be new for the staff and it looked like they were trying to figure out how it worked. Food was very ordinary and veg was again <surprise> paneer. Airconditioning was not on and it was very stuffy. Naan and some sweet bread was okay but thats all I can say about the meal. Desert was tutti fruti icecream in the cups one sees in push carts along with 2 small jamun and some fried sweet stuff. Would I go again? No chance till they get their act together
